The Mets infield defense might be the worst in MLB history. The bullpen is extremely overrated and shaky, especially if Swarzak is hurt. And the rotation is awful other than the Top 2. Not seeing how they stay in the wild card race past June or maybe July.

They obviously are not going to be the top defense in baseball but have 1 error over 3 games. Bullpen should worry us but up till now have given up 3 runs in 11+ innings. Matz gave up a few yesterday but in a weird way, he didnt look horrible.

Mets won their first series, which is always a good thing. So far Cabrera is shutting me up, which I'd would want anyway lol. As far as yesterday, I figured Matz would do Matz like things and that should be a concern with him being a number 3. Hopefully Harvey, Lugo picks him up.

On to Philly and their manager who makes Terry Collins look like Tony LaRussa.

Washington is absolutely on fire. If their 4th starter (Roark) pitches like he did last night, they'll win the division by 27 games again. That was their team's only question mark.

So Roark has a good game and Washington will win the division by 27 games...

He will not be "dominating" for long if he keeps throwing 92 mph fastballs.

Harvey has a good game and it was a fluke.

You sound like a hater

It was like 38 degrees and rainy. Ben Lively looked really good for the Phils too. But in that weather, it's tough to get too excited about a pitcher just yet.

Your just upset the Yankees didn't sign Ohtani instead of Stanton. Of course another classy showing by Yankees fans booing their prize recruit in his 1st home game. The most pompous fan base in all of sports. Varsity vs JV my butt, not when it comes to the fans. Sure, fans of all teams boo players, but the Yankees take it to the next level. It's one of the lead stories on all the media's.

Harvey had a strong start last night, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling both made comments that a number of the long fly ball outs would have been home runs if the game had been played in Philly. It wasn't so we'll take the win and it is a positive for harvey to build on.

Rosario off to a real nice start. 5 games, 5 rbi's, .333 b/a.

But I guess it's fair to say he will not be taking a lot of walks this year. 3 ab's today, 6 pitches.

And Zimmerman had big year last year, would not surprise me if he hits .250 this year.
