LOL. No really, I did.

But hey, if we're going to be irrationally despondent after a loss, we can be irrationally exuberant after a win. That is our job, no?
Absolutely. It's in the DNA of Rutgers and Mets fans.
I am not despondent. This team seems to be galvanizing around the pitching woes (except when Jake pitches--maybe it is a clubhouse prank. [roll] ).

Am at game. Just want to let everyone know that the Citi Field acoustics are very poor. It may have sounded on TV that Robles was being booed when he left the field. But actually the crowd was yelling Ruuuuubles (the Castilian Spanish pronounciation).
Have to give you credit to sit out there and watch this.
Do the Mets think Jake is starting tonight? It's OK to score some runs.

Apparently 60 pitches in 4 innings is too much for Lugo. At least him go 5 and delay the inevitable.

Did announcers comment on the decision to play infield back and concede the fourth run? I found that inexplicable.

It's amazing or frightening that this team is so ill constructed to play at Citifield. The fences need to be pushed in even more.

The revolving door continues to spin...

Scott Copeland was the Mets' only effective reliever yesterday. Today he got his reward - DFA. Jose Lobaton is back. So now the Mets are back to a four man bench, with two of the four being catchers.

For a moment I thought maybe Mesoraco or Plawecki had an injury that wasn't being disclosed. But I dismissed that notion as being totally out of character for the Mets.

My cardiologist and I have decided that it is in my best interest to turn off Met games as soon as a relief pitcher enters. This way I can see see occasional good games thrown by Matz Wheeler and Vargas. Thor and Degrom are givens. It will also not rob me from seeing Nimmo becoming a budding superstar and Rosario showing all the potential that was placed on him

All that money spent on glass legs Cespedes, when all along, Nimmo showed signs of flashing, and is now exploding. Sandy sucks.
