Holy crap, Ramos comes in, throws 9 pitches, and 8 of them are balls? And the last one bounced in front of the plate? Why is this guy still on the team?

Not 20 20 hindsight as I would have kept gsellman in and if you're going to lose go down with your better pitcher than crumbs like Blevins and Ramos. These 2 guys are garbage.

So they run Harvey out of town in a heartbeat (which was right move), yet still let Vargas in the building? When I woke up today I expected a news report that he was gone. Is Homie The Clown running this organization?

I just read the article. It is PURE SPECULATION - there is nothing to it other than:
  • Mets had engaged in discussions with Indians about Yan Gomes BEFORE the Mets acquired Mesoraco.
  • The writer believes that Familia is a good fit for the Indians, and IF the Mets decide to become sellers, Cleveland could be a buyer.
And before anyone freaks out about trading Nimmo, here's what he had to say on that: "The Indians, like many teams, have long had interest in Brandon Nimmo, whom the Mets value and will not move outside of a more significant trade."

Was not aware of that with Red Bank. That was not too far from Two Rivers Theatre. He was a truly gentle man. Rode with 64-6 and Squad 65. Just totally stunned about this.

Mets would never trade Degrom to Yankees but if a deal ever happened the starting point is Torres and additional players. None of andujar Frazier or Austin are impact players. Degrom is simply the best pitcher in baseball right now and you don't give up the best for part time yankee mediocre players who are not impactful.
