I said when Butler was with the T-wolves he may well be a talented & productive player who gives a lot of effort on the court, but he’s a terrible teammate and not much of a leader.

Looks like not much has changed.
Yeah, I love to see players have fire and passions for the craft. However, I do not get why he feels the need to constantly be at odds with management, coaches, and teammates.

Well Jimmy someone in this equation is bad.

Teammates + coach + Jimmy = disfunction.
Minnesota + Thibs +Jimmy= Disfunction.
So Minnesota + Thibs-Jimmy= function.

Now Philly + Jimmy + Brown = disfunction. Solve for the variable causing disfunction Jimmy.

I wouldn’t really say the Minnesota and Thibs are functioning. I guess you could say they’re functioning poorly.

I thought Jimmy just wanted to win, it's clear that he's a selfish team cancer who is more concerned about getting his.

What else is he gonna say publicly? He has to try to put Jimmy's fire out.

Say whatever he feels like saying. Say what you what about Butler, but he's not afraid to put his name to what he says. He does not hide behind anonymous sources.

You might be the type of person who needs anonymous sources to prove your point, but I tend to put a little more validity in people who are not afraid to say something on the record.

Remember, unproven coaches are a dime a dozen in the NBA. Ownership and GMs acquire talent...coaches need to maximize the talent.

Keep in mind, this dude is a free agent trying to get a max deal and needs to be on his best behavior considering the cancer he was to his last 2 teams. He's so psycho he can't help himself.

He is afraid to put his name to stories, like that practice where he supposedly beat the starters with the 3rd string. Who do you think leaked that to the media and every other heroic Jimmy Butler story the media writes with anonymous sources?

You called KAT soft too, he has never missed a game... ever. Your boy Jimmy Butler has missed nearly a dozen games this year alone for general soreness and the sniffles. Dudes is soft, a narcissist, team cancer, and overall scumbag.

Anybody that says we don’t get enough time to connect with the one and done players that come to UK should refer to this thread about a former teammate that had beef with one of those players. LaFamilia indeed.

Our definitions of soft are different. I think you are confusing durable with soft. On defense, no one is scared of KAT. Hence the knock on him as being soft. Butler is considered one of the best defensive players in the NBA.

The NBA is a star driven league and teams have a ton of money to work with. Jimmy will get max with Philly or someone else. Owners and GMs are in the business of winning...talent wins.

No one is "scared" of Jimmy Butler either. Any guy who doesnt answer the bell and show up to fight with his teammates is soft, that's Jimmy Butler. Not being a great defender doesnt mean one is soft, that's ridiculous.

Where do you get this talent/Jimmy Butler wins stuff from? What has Jimmy Butler ever won? He choked like a dog in the playoffs when he was with the Bulls, he choked like a dog in the playoffs when he was with the T-Wolves year. Dude has never won anything in his life, he's just been a team cancer everywhere he's been.

Buddy, give it a rest...its Friday night. Go out and live life. It's much nicer than having a conversation with me.

Buddy, it's a message board. I'm fully capable of living life and posting on a message board. You never should have called KAT soft and defended this shitbag if you not willing to stand by what you said.

KAT is soft and Butler is a better player...you disagree...how many more posts do you need to have to repeat? My mind is set and so is yours. Arguing about it over a message board is lame. Hence me saying to give it a rest.

76ers have a winning record with him while Minnesota has a losing record without him. T-Wolves are also 3 places from dead last in the western conference currently. So they haven't fared very well without Butler.

With that said Butler needs a veteran coach who can spar back with him or else he creates too many media headlines that can be distractions.

KAT is a better player that's why he got a max deal and team cancer started crying and quit on his team. KAT is 23, Jimmy is 30 in the prime of his career, KAT still puts up better numbers. To call a guy averaging 21 and 12 at 23 soft is beyond moronic, soft bigs dont last in the league, let alone make All Star appearances at 22 years old. That's the same kind of moronic the leads one to defend the indefensible, the POS Jimmy Butler.

The 76 had a winning record without him, Minnesota had a losing record with him too, they didnt fare very well with him either. They were 4-9 with him, 14-11 since trading him.

You think KAT is going to be an all-star this year?
