There has been a theme in this year's playoffs, bench play. The pacers have mastered it with all of the bench players they use, it seems like haliburton isn't even in the game until the 4th quarter..Thibs did not develop his bench during the season and is paying the price...also teams are attacking brunson and getting him into foul trouble because you can't hide two poor defenders with kat and brunson..lead them to benching kat and losing his offensive threat (don't know why he benched hart, that's the most important guy on Knicks imo) ..hopefully they figure out how to keep the starters fresh for the fourth quarter and then maybe they can win game 3 like Minnesota..

Minnesota figured out how deep of a team OKC is and that they would need to start playing more guys. They dusted off Terrance Shannon jr (I know you guys remember him lol) and he gave them 15 pts in 13 minutes and for the first time their bench outscored okc's bench.. let's see what happens game 4. With super fast up and down pace of games, I think we will see teams begin to play more of their bench players next year developing different lineups that can be used in the playoffs... multiple wings/position less players on your team..guys like Flagg and Ace will be even more of a commodity..Indiana has like 4 position less athletic wings that can shoot.. Nesmith, nemhard, mathurun, topping, interchangeable players although toppin is more of a forward/center while the other 3 are forwards/guards..

Watched the 1st 6 minutes of the OKC-MIN game. Gobert would have had 3 moving screens called if it were NCAAs. It is clownish what they let screeners get away with

The Knicks have some veteran guys on their bench that the coach has simply decided not to utilize. Landry Shamet can be an offensive spark and is a good 3 point shooter. Precious Achuiwa can contribute and even Delon Wright is a strong defender.

Yeah not sure if the Knicks understand what the pacers are doing. They play 11 guys and try to run the entire game. Then in the 4th quarter of it's close they can simply put hustle your tired players..

That was wild. Unreal the bench (and obviously Towns) got that 2nd half run going. Knicks defense throughout second half outstanding, looked like six guys on the court at times.

If you really look at it... Indiana probably has the most complete roster in basketball. 11 legit guys, whole starting 5 can shoot the 3 and play elite defense..it's just that I'm biased against pacers name and colors and never would have picked them to win a championship. I know everyone wants to give it to OKC this year but idk they can start shooting bricks, I like Indians offense better...if Nesmith can harass SGA like he is Brunson can one of those other guys on OKC be a consistent scorer? Idk, pacers might really win the championship this year..lol talk about parity, if the ratings are bad, NBA will start to allow super teams again lol

Congrats to the Knicks on their 111-94 win over the Pacers just now. Wasn't really even that close. Back to Indy for game 6. Let's go KNICKS!

Nice win. In control nearly the entire game although the memory of game 1 was still vivid. A lot hard work still to be done.

Somebody needs to smack Josh Hart in the head with a two by four. He repeatedly gives up open looks going to the rim to turn the ball over trying to kick it out. For all the great he does, he still drives me crazy.

He does seem to be making bad passes at a greater rate than normal in this series. Can’t have that Saturday night.

Josh hart started a pacers mini spurt with 2 horrendous passes

I love Harts heart all year , for some reasons he has been putrid on offense and especially with ball in his hands the last few games
He still gets plenty defensive rebounds which saves him from sitting on the bench.

He just tries to do too much sometimes. He's not a creator on offense jist needs to be reminded.

Brunson is a train wreck right now. Walking turnover every possession

Series is very anti climactic…Thunder destroys either of these teams
Idk, I can take a better guess after the first game but if they are able to frustrate SGA with Nesmith, and nemhard like they did with brunson. I don't trust Jalen Williams and chet holmgrem to score the basketball. Or Caruso or hartenstein..both teams have good defense but I trust Indians offense more .

The Pacers will be more competitive with the Thunder than the Knicks would have been. They are a better team and have more depth. Having said that a regular or gentlemen's sweep is in play for the Thunder.

I don't see the Knicks firing Thibs. I also don't see the Knicks winning a championship with this team. I liked last year's version when healthy much better. I am not excited about four more years of Brunson and Towns trying to fit together. I like OG but he is very expensive under the new CBA until the cap grows, which it will once the new TV deal kicks in. I am not offering Bridges a max extension deal. I think those are going to become more rare under the CBA and with the realization that you need quality depth on your roster.

SGA will shoot 15 FT a game

Will be annoyed all summer about game 1 collapse and even more annoyed about Knicks being involved in EVERY trade rumor.
