Masters.com has featured groups, Holes thru 4-6. Amen Corner, and 15 and 16, You can watch 1 2.3.or all 4 at once.

ESPN+ has early coverage with ESPN at 3pm I believe.
Same is true for all your streaming devices & mobile devices by downloading the Masters app (Apple TV, Roku, iOS, Android)... and it's free.

So we're going to have to watch ESPN for this.

Did we get mor coverage when the early rounds were available on Golf Channel? I seem to remember like 10 hours of Thursday and Friday coverage when it was there and even more on the weekends.

Am I misremembering or in addition to having to watch ESPN is ESPN screwing us out of viewing time too?

golf channel has never broadcasted the masters.

USA Network had the Thursday Friday rights before ESPN and only aired 3 hours each day.

The Masters is notorious for their limited tv exposure

Maybe it was a different Major.

Has there ever been an athlete so important to his sport as Tiger is to golf? Maybe the combination of Bird/Magic? The NBA was going through a rough time before those two burst in the league. I'm just amazed how much interest rises with Tiger in the Masters. Incredible.
Jordan was more important to basketball than magic and bird ever were.

Phelps for swimming.

It appears the changes on 11 and 15 will make the holes a bit more demanding.

On #11 while moving the tee to the left and removing some trees on the right should make driving a bit easier, adding 15 yards and the changes to the bail out area around the green away from the pond may make it more risk - reward.

#15 will be 20 yards longer. Will more players decide it's a 3 shot hole or chance being able to keep a shot with a longer club on the narrow green, especially if it's windy?

I like JT.
Watch the way the players play their approach shots on #15. Tiger and JT were practicing lots of shots yesterday from the right side bunker to each of the hole locations. Looks like they want their 2nd shot to land in that bunker, then hit 3rd shots close to the hole for birdie.

Anything short goes into the water while over the green makes for a tough up and down. Bunker is the safer play on the 2nd shot it seems.

What an odd round for Smith with bookend double bogeys sandwiched around -8 for the other 16 holes. If he could've stayed out of trouble on those 2 holes, he could've had a monster round, although I'm sure he would've taken -4 before the round.

Cam Smith opens with a Double Bogey and ends with a Double Bogey. In between he was 8 Under. -4 and tied for the lead at the moment

I did not see that on the masters.org web site. Plus F that I'm not paying for Paramount+.
We got Paramount + for the Yellowstone prequel, “1883.” It can really get out of hand with all these pay stations, I agree. Here is the CBS “how to watch that lists different coverage.

I do not believe that is true

The league was dying until Bird and Magic came along
Jordan turned a league that was kinda popular into a global phenomenon. the NBA wouldnt be the international brand that it is today without him.

Yes. He's by far the biggest name and the #1 reason a majority of people are watching, especially with what's happened the last 400 days. On Saturday's when he's 12 back and they do it is it annoying? Of course. But it's completely expected for this tournament given the circumstances. Use Every Shot coverage on the masters page to grab the other non featured guys.

I agree, but Tiger does stir the drink. Go to the Masters app or site and they have everyone’s shot, even McIlroy’s. The best site in golf.

I get it. He's by far the most popular player - especially for the fans ESPN want to grab - the more casual fans. Regular golf fans will always tune in to the Masters. And he's in the top two or three in history and it's a big comeback.

But I tend to dislike fan favorites and GOATs. I like the underdogs.

And I like to complain. Though I'd like to point out a couple of LOLs in my complaints. Hopefully showing I'm not really angry.

There greens are soooo sloooow due to all the rain. Hopefully they pickup with the wind and dryness over the next three days.

Regarding the major tournaments, I love it when the best players over the four rounds really struggle to break par. I like seeing the top players in the world suffer. None of this 20 shots under par stuff. Let's see them miss from three feet like I do.

My pick Rory just birdied the upgraded, very hard #11 to move to -1. Definitely in contention, unlike so many past years where he had bad first rounds. Tied with Koepka who just bogeyed 11.
