One game away from the World Series. Unfreaking believable. Enjoy the ride fellas. We are on the verge of history.

Listening to WFAN the past couple days a lot of people have already penciled in a NLCS win and World Series - and in typical NY fashion people have already moved on to next years contracts and who should/shouldn't be signed. People are just allergic to living in the moment

Carlos Beltran with Houston in '04. It got him a big contract with the Mets. Btw, why in the hell would you pitch to Murphy right now? Even if the bases are loaded I would walk him. I rather give up 1 run instead of 4. Every pitch is a beach ball to Murphy.
Did anyone saw Murphy's eyes when he hit that home run? They were as big as beach balls when he saw that pitch. Must be the same size as those beach balls he's seeing at the plate. Dude is on fire right now.

I really hope the Mets get this over with tomorrow night so I do have to worry about them repeating any 0-3 comeback. Lets Go Mets.

I noticed that but not being a full-time fan of baseball I figured I was just carried away. With slo-mo I could see his eyes dial-in as the ball left pitchers hand. That pitch was going to be a hit before the swing even got going

Wright swinging and Duda with a couple good ab's. Conforto 2 line drives , Cespedes is heating up. Murph is Murph . Average to slightly above average righty tomorrow in Hammels . Please end it early , I want a stress free win if that is possible

I have no problem with the bullpen usage or any of the strategy employed in tonight's game. It's all working right now. I'd like to see them end it tomorrow so they can go home and relax for a while before the WS commences. They'll have earned it.

This was actually a good play by Duda, just couldn't get the hit. Everyone been saying "bunt against the shift." Finally someone listens lol.

Especially with the way Duda has been hitting, nothing wrong with trying something a little different there.

That trade of Dickey and others to Toronto for Thor and D'Arnaud has been huge. Dickey got shelled last night and Toronto lost 14-2.

I'm out of sorts right now and my equilibrium is off.. being a long time Mets fan and almost nothing to whine about. Well, Ripken is an awful announcer....oh,yeah, and I still hate Doug Sisk.

When at Citi Field on Memorial Day to see my Phillies play the Mets,I told my friend,a Mets fan, that the best team in the game is playing in NYC today at Yankee Stadium-the Kansas City Royals.I see no reason yet to change my mind, although I could.

Longer term, the Mets should be a power for years,as long as the Democrats don't win the Presidential election next year,as no Mets team has ever finished a season above.500 during a Democrat President's first term, going 0 for 19,with JFK 0 for 3,LBJ 0 for 4,JC 0 for 4,BC 0 for 4.and BO 0 for 4.

Well first you had the Dodgers with their unbeatable one-two punch of Kershaw and Greinke. The Cards were supposed to be the best too all year since they won 100 games while playing in what was by far the best division in baseball. But then you had the Cubs who were streaking, having won their last 8 games of the season. Who had easily defeated the 99 win Bucs on the road in the wild card game before easily dispatching the Cards. Most people were considering them the best before the playoffs began. The team you didn't want to face because they were really hitting their stride. And they'd had the Mets number all year. I respect Kansas City, and I know they'd present a different type of challenge due to their approach at the plate which could lead to our starters running up some pitch counts. If they got the slight edge from the oddsmakers I'm sure it would be only because they'd have the home field in a game 7. But I'd welcome the chance to match our rotation, along with the rest of our team, up against theirs.

Personally, I'm hoping they can close it out tonight. deGrom clearly needs a few extra days rest at this point in the season. He had 7 days rest for that Game 1 start against the Dodgers and he dominated. If they close out tonight Harvey should go Game 1, Syndergaard Game 2, DeGrom Game 3, Matz Game 4, and repeat. If it goes 7 games Harvey, Matz, the regular playoff bullpen and realistically even Syndergaard if needed can be thrown out there Game 7 if you need them.

He is a proud NJ sports fan rooting against the local team with the greatest chance of winning their sport's championship this year.

And being a troll.

An early run by the Mets would be huge. Several analysts have already mentioned how subdued the crowd is.
Wind is blowing out. Does that help the Cubs or does Murphy just hit longer Home Runs?
Good luck Mets fans enjoy the game

Killer blow by Duda. One strike away from getting out of it, and now it is 4-0 after one. Body language just tells you this is 90% a done deal already. I love how Matz is just getting the ball and working fast.

Huge first inning. Duda might have broken out at last and a quick 1-2-3 by Matz. That's how you win!
