Coming to grips in the 50s and 60s apparently meant turning tear gas and hoses on demonstrators, denying African Americans access to restaurants and other public venues, burning churches (and killing young girls in the process), and lynchings. Marxist - really? that's just bizarre. You probably need to read some history about US history in the 1920s and 1930s and the systematic racism and violence against African Americans during that period that set back progress for decades.

Use the George Floyd issue tip whip up the black communities into a frenzy, show prominent democrats wearing kente cloths and kneeling in submission all to keep the blacks on the democrat plantation. Meanwhile if anyone did any research they would discover that the civil right act of 1964 was passed with a majority republican vote. Most democrats opposed it! I never understood why Columbus Day was a holiday, even as a kid when I still believed he discovered America. Whether you are black, white, or purple, Juneteenth should be a holiday. I don't understand how anyone could argue against it. Slavery based solely on the color of your skin has been around for a long time (the US did not invent it as reported recently.) That it is still going on to this day in some places boggles my mind. Full disclosure - I first heard about it 2 or 3 days ago also, but I have lived in NJ my entire life.
