There are other photos with Phil and the team without the masks on. I guess covid went on a lunch break
You'll notice that St Peters, throughout the tournament, has worn masks way more than other teams...including a bit in warm-ups and in press conferences. I think the mask policy probably came from the school/team and it seems like they are being ultra-careful.
