Nice gesture for him to support the team.
OT: Gov. Murphy Visits the Peacocks

Well, it’s not as if it isn’t completely absurd.
There are other photos with Phil and the team without the masks on. I guess covid went on a lunch break
You'll notice that St Peters, throughout the tournament, has worn masks way more than other teams...including a bit in warm-ups and in press conferences. I think the mask policy probably came from the school/team and it seems like they are being ultra-careful.
Aaaaaaannnnddd another thread ruined...
They look like a high school team .
And are pulling off one of the greatest underdog runs of all time

You don't believe the Governor of NJ picked St Peters to win one game on a completely meaningless bracket?
Why?
He actually picked them to get this far but then he has Purdue winning. All political differences aside, it’s good to have an Athletics-friendly and RU-friendly Governor.
Now that’s a conspiracy reach. It was shown before the first game. I admire your consistency though.
I think he had them winning two and I remember it being shown before the first game. I was like, “What a homer!” But it’s good that he is.
Should check out this guy’s Twitter. Hes going full blown Q-anon.
It’s just weird not to believe because it seems like exactly the kind of thing the governor of a state would do lol. It’s not like he’s claiming he bet a lot of money on it or something lol
Agreed. And the guy is a former jock who is at more games than I remember previous Governors ever attending. I am not surprised at all that he would fill out a bracket.
Thanks for the heads up, but I need to preserve what brain I have left as I get older. Q-Check Anon erodes things!
It wouldn’t be a story at all. They just played two games in sold out arena with no mask. These people are losing grips with reality

Murphy also had RU going the Sweet 16, and had us beating Clemson last year. I forget about Houston.
