There are no corporate headquarters in NJ? Merck, Campbell’s Soup, Johnson & Johnson, Century 21, ADP, Cognizant, Prudential, Celgene, Chubb, Becton-Dickinson, Progressive, Unilever, Panasonic, to name a few.

The Walton family have deep/alumnus ties to thr University of Arkansas. The trick is probably not where corporate headquarters are located but rather seems to be finding Billionaires with strong ties to Rutgers.

Rutgers has to pick up their game in forging corporate ties for the athletic programs.

That is not going to happen. A publicly held company has to answer to their shareholders.

Why TF do we have a three page thread about a deep bench transfer? The guy isn’t playing here and is not playing much at Nebraska. He’ll transfer to a low major next year and get some quality playing time and points. Saved us 10 more pages by getting ahead of the inevitable outcome.

So is Tyson Foods. To answer the question, IMO, those corporations likely employ lots of locals who were born and raised and will stay in Arkansas who have a strong sense of state pride. While NJ is between NYC and Philadelphia, NJ is full of lots of transplants, and a good number of New Jersey residents do not have a strong sense of state pride compared to southern and midwestern states.

Not sure pharma/med device companies (Merck, JNJ, Celgene, Becton) would be a good NIL fit, but what do I know. Unilever and Panasonic are foreign companies. As I noted in the post above, NJ is a state full of transplants from other states. NJ does not have a sense of state pride and loyalty that you would find in Southern and midwestern states.

Excited to watch Gavin light it up tonight against FDU. Averaging 3 points a game on 20% 3-point shooting. And he was high 4 star recruit...briefly a 5-star recruit. Unreal. Faring no better at Nebraska than here. Maybe worse.
His stellar play in AAU ball was the reason he received a high rating. Alabama, UConn, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Syracuse and others offered, too. If he doesn't improve, he'll be a bust. It happens.

Griffiths had a pretty solid second half with 8 points and a couple of threes. I still think he’s going to be good. But, his D is still pretty poor.
He would not be a good fit unless you never pass him the ball he was a black hole on offense the ball goes down to him and you never see it again also had very low b-ball IQ
Lathans offensive skills at this point are a thousand times better than Clffs
You would be correct if we ran plays for Cliff like we did last year - giving it to Cliff to do his non-existent post moves way too far from the basket. If that had happened you would be correct and it would have been coaching malpractice if pike used Cliff in that way on this team.
Had Cliff stayed pike would have (or atleast should have) used him like bama apparently is . I can’t imagine they are feeding him in the post like we did last year. So I doubt very much that he’s the black hole for bama that he was for us on offense

Until teams took it away, Miles ran our offense well through the high post.

Was very frustrated with Griffiths last season but projecting that he will end up being solid....but not spectacular. He's long and athletic and the shooting will come. Defending was a major issue, which made him a square peg at RU. Some people just take longer to mature and figure things out.
Yet, Lathan, thus far has been that same black hole. Don't think he's let go of the ball once after receiving it in the post.
He'll figure it out. I'm keeping close watch on him and Hayes this year. So far Hayes is showing as a big upgrade, which I didn't expect. Not sure how much this wrist injury stunted some further development for GG.
We all got teased by his big game against Boston U and kept waiting all year to see anything close to that again.
