Always liked Chris Rock. I'm into Sabastian Maniscalco now. He's pretty good.
The Marx Brothers! They would have me in tears everytime. Summer of '75 I was watching my first Marx Brothers movie. My parents who were sleeping heard me downstairs laughing my *** off. They thought what the heck was going on. I was never one to stay up late so mom came down to investigate. I never heard of them before. She tried to explain to me who they were but I kept laughing to hard to listen. She returns to bed and a minute later my dad comes down so I think I'm in trouble. He says "A Night at the Races! I love that picture!" Now two of us are cracking up. With in minutes the whole family is watching it with mom in the kitchen cooking us anything we wanted. Occasionally yelling out a line right before it happened. We all watched many Marx Brothers movies together after that night. Still funny today.
I believe Dane Cook got caught stealing other comedians stuff
Heard this happened with Henny Youngman (take my wife...please) too. Told his comedian friends he was having some writer’s block and they all sent him a joke. Ended up doing a whole routine on their material and never thanked or credited them. Tried it again and they all sent him the same joke. Many good ones above. Glad Dane Cook got mentioned. I used to hate him but the most I heard the better it got. Some here may think it’s BS because he got busted stealing/recycling jokes but Carlos Mencia in his heyday used to have my wife and I laugh all the time.
oh and Daniel Tosh is pretty damn good as well.

Was she “blue” or PG?Many years ago I saw the late Shirley Hemphill at Rascals. She was great.
Rosie O'Donnell opened the night.....eh.
Before my Dad met my Mom he and some friends drove across country and stopped in Vegas to see his brother who was in charge of anything maintenance-wise for Caesars.By far the best : Norm MacDonald especially if he's on Letterman or Conan.
also:
Don Rickles
Joan Rivers
MST3K guys
Gilbert Gottfried
Brian Reagan
Kathy Madigan

While there they took in a show where Don Rickles was performing in one of the lounges. Part of the act was having someone “tossed” out of the lounge after getting picked on by Don. That was my Dad that night. He said afterwards Don came by and hung out at the bar with them, picked up the tab and told them some great stories.
So yeah, Don Rickles is on my list too.
One of the stories he told my Dad and his friends (after thanking him for being a good sport) was how he did the same thing to a really big Native American who did not find it as funny as Don did. He said the guy was so mad he pulled a big knife on him and had to be restrained and calmed down.I have seen Don Rickles perform 4 times in Vegas. Each tine he would pick on different audience members. The few he picked on the most he would send a bottle of champagne to that table.
Also saw him walking through Caesar’s palace with his entourage. Don was hammered, and he was hilarious making jokes about people he passed by.
Cobsy's "Himself" to me is one of the great routines I've seen
Someone mentioned Jim Gaffigan, I tried watching his bits, some of it I chuckled but I never understood the love for him.
Agree on Will Ferrell. Just stupid.Goes hand in hand for me (these are also two of my favorite comics) - Dave Chappelle and Patrice O'Neal
Would Will Ferrell be considered a comic? Have never found him entertaining in the least.
Dennis Wolfberg:
Never a big fan,Did anyone mention Steve Martin? He was massive when he first came onto the scene.
Agree on Will Ferrell. Just stupid.
