Awesome

Listened to that one this morning, and I'll see them at Shaky Knees in May. I wish they would just play that album through.

I'll be there too. Shaky Knees is the best festival lineup I've seen for 2015.

I'm a big fan of Spacemen3 and Spiritualized.

Doggiestyle is on there. Same Cooke if I could do greatest hits

But I can't really name any albums of that era. Hank Jr. The New South is one of my favorites, and I still like Country Grammar.

Now That's What I Call Music 47**

Seriously though, I'll go with Back In Black. Few bands can go through what they went through and put out something that incredible.

1) Frank Sinatra: New York, New York-His Greatest Hits 1983

A close second would be Dark Side of the Moon, with Zeppelin IV in 3rd, The Who-Who's Next in 4th, and

Santa Esmeralda: Greatest Hits with Leroy Gomez (with Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood as the primary cut) is 5th. This cut would get me from my driveway (in Slidell at the time) to Fat City in 18 minutes flat.

A couple of newer ones y'all really need to check out:
"AM" by Arctic Monkeys
"Into the Wide" by Delta Spirit (seriously, Delta Spirit should be getting more notoriety than they are). The self titled record and "Ode to Sunshine" (their first) are really good too. They give a hellacious live show also.

What's the Story is my #2 to Don't Believe the Truth, only because MTV wore out Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall for me so I am sick of those. What's the Story's B-sides are strong.

Like all of those and Hotel California and Rumors were both great albums. Two others I would throw in there as all-time greats are

Boston - Self-titled first album
Journey - Escape

Agree. Wish You Were Here...

1. Wish You Were Here. Pink Floyd

2. The Grand Illusion. Styx

3. 2112. Rush

4. Zeppelin IV. Led Zeppelin

5. Rumors. Fleetwood Mac

That is one album were there is not a throw away song on it and each song belongs together. Most albums are a group of singles.

I like Dire Straits first album, Dire Straits better than Brothers in Arms.

and Lynyrd Skynyrd Pronounced would be another one missing from the overall post.

When you hit play on that Boston album and More Than A Feeling starts up it sounds awesome on a good set of headphones.

Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here is great on headphones.
