Probably take some heat for this but Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 will forever be in my top 3.
Whatever People Say I am that's what I'm not by Arctic Monkeys and Led Zeppelin IV round out my top 3 for today. I'll probably change my mind again by tomorrow

Just one? Rolling Stones Exile On Main Street. *

The threads about Super Bowl and NFC halftime shows got me thinking. We have a lot of guys on the board tht are very interested in music it seems so I wanted to have a discussion. I started collecting LP's about a year ago and have come to discover a whole bunch of music that I had never heard before (obviously not surprising).

You have can pick one album that you consider the greatest of all time. What is it?

Unfortunately, Cat Stevens converted to Islam and is now Yusef Islam .
Among other things, he said he agreed with the fatwa calling for Salman Rushdie's death.

Rolling In the Hay (self-titled album)

I have it from when they were still playing the Clyde Q Circuit.

Also - I bought another small band CD I bought way back when was the Thomas Jackson Orchestra. Their bluesy-rock style was pretty dang good.

Agree greatest hits don't count.

Not greatest of all time, but albums I put in and never skip a song:
any Beatles (Rubber Soul, if you make me pick)
Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Siamese Dream
Weezer
any Blue Mountain (Dog Days, Tales of a Traveler)

Have to have some Zeppelin, Creedence, Hendrix

Bonus: check out Will The Circle Be Unbroken - Nitty Gritty Dirt Brand

Five albums:
Willie Nelson - Stardust
Alison Krauss - I've Got That Old Feeling
Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Metallica - The Black Album
Grateful Dead - What A Long Strange Trip It's Been: The Best of the Grateful Dead (yeah, a compilation, but I had this on repeat while I typed my MA thesis)

And a bonus compilation album because I really love his music:
Leonard Cohen - The Essential Leonard Cohen
