I'll bet Jason Maronge can help straighten him out.

Although I'll bet he's the cause of some of them after that hit he delivered at mid-court at the RAC when Danny couldn't stop chirping at the RU bench after each shot.

I wish I had a picture of 6-10 Maronge just standing over him watching him gasp for air. Big mouthed PUNK.

I'm not a fan of Danny Hurley because he does act like a jerk on the sidelines but his comments were not meant to be heard or publicized as he was just blowing off steam after a very tough loss in the hallway of the arena. If he made the same comments in a press conference, that would be another story, however.

I am not a fan of coaches who are over the top a**holes and bullies, but I absolutely recognize that Danny Hurley is a great coach.

Having said that, the latest development in this saga is unacceptable. If you're gonna dance with the devil. you should own it. The UCONN Director of Communications, or whatever his title is, was out of line here.

As I've stated previously, Danny cannot keep going at this rate
Absent of winning natties every year, this type of behavior won't be tolerated

Was going to post this as well.
Just inexcusable for someone who is allegedly a 'professional' and deals with media on a regular basis.

Exactly, that's what makes the UCONN staffer threatening to ruin the career of the reporter so ridiculous. That wasn't exactly a private hallway either.

About damn time UConn hoops had a legit scandal to humiliate their fans. If they keep that bozo PR person employed after that, they deserve to be derided by fans of opposing schools.

Nick Sirianni was dangerous close to being fired with the Eagles with the slow start last fall during the bye week in October due to the collapse the year prior and his antics on the sidelines. He saved his job with the dominant performance of the team leading to the Super Bowl win. Hurley better keep getting hardware because behavior like this will get old quick if he isn't winning BIG.

Each passing year that Danny is removed from his championships the less tolerance that admin will have for his antics.

He better hope he gets another ring otherwise it might only be a few more years until he self implodes.

You can be a fierce competitor without being a sore loser.

He needs to learn that quickly.
