OT: Crawford - Khan, PPV tonight...

I haven't heard one mention of that fight. The big fight to make would be Spence maybe 18 months from now.
one is the best fighter in all of boxing and the other has a glass chin. This one is over before they even get in the ring.
I wouldn't be surprised if Khan is winning after 5 rounds.
Bud doing his thing. Putting on a clinic, scoring many more points, then a mid-late round KO.
I hope Crawford gets paid while in his prime...is there any sort of mega-fight out there for him?
I've seen pac man mentioned before. Pac man should not take that fight. Bud would murder him.

Neither would I as Khan is a very skilled and very fast fighter. Should be Bud's toughest fight yet.

I had no idea people still cared about boxing. If people want to see a real fight then they watch UFC.
A glancing blow can hurt more than a direct shot with a cup on. I'm not going to question a guy's toughness who has been in the ring 40 times.
It would be fun to see one of these boxing "stars" get stomped out in the octagon.
You could say the reverse as well. The UFC star wouldn’t stand a chance in a straight boxing match. Both are fun to watch
Boxing isn't real fighting though. It's a hugfest with some occasional punches thrown and few landed.
How would Mayweather against Conor in a UFC rules match? Conor would crush him
McGregor looked like the better fighter. Mayweather just knew the cheesy boxing rules better.
She got her butt whooped in the UFC too. Stomped out in her first fight after the Rousey fight, IIRC
I like the potentially longer boxing matches...endurance...short term vs. long term strategy, etc.
It would have been fun to watch Crawford if he could go back to the 70's and 80's and fight some of the talent from back then. I think Bud would have held his own against what was arguably the best decades for boxing talent and fights. Bud certainly owns it today!
I am pro UFC. To your point, I used to work with a legit 6th degree karate black belt. He said he could spar for 10 rounds with little effort. He said when he sparred 2-3 rounds doing grappling, he was spent and fighting in quicksand. This is the reason that wrestling/judo/jiu jitsu are great bases in MMA. Wrestlers are very happy to drag you into deep water and make you swim in the water they grew up. Ronda had pretty horrible boxing and Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes took advantage of that. If Ronda could have got close enough to clinch Holly, she would have destroyed her. Nunes is a beast with legit jiu jitsu and striking. Ronda never stood a chance verses her. Boxing is the sweet science. It is the finesse fighting sport. It is not real fighting. To your point, I am positive with MMA rules, Ronda would murder boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in about thirty seconds. She would just dive at his legs and drag him down to the ground and commence to kill him very quickly. Much like a real fight.
In fact, have Bud Crawford fight Jordan Burroughs in a no holds barred fight. They are similar weight. Jordan is a little bigger but that wouldn't even matter. Jordan would win that fight faster than most Tyson fights. He would maul Crawford into the ground and probably force him to just quit. The ultimate game of uncle.
Sorry, but do you not realize how much STRONGER and FASTER Mayweather is than Ronda? I don't care if it was no rules, Mayweather would destroy her, and it wouldn't be close.
