Always hated sparring guys like Silver. Too long for me. Those round house kicks he threw in Karate Kid 3 are devastating. When I was a kid my sensei's friend was Super Foot Bill Wallace. Dude was incredible.
How did you like the way Brad Pitt’s character in Once upon a Time in Hollywood treated Kato or Bruce Lee?

Let’s do season 5 predictions, probably stating the obvious, or maybe not.
I see Kreese, Johnny and Daniel teaming up together to bring down Silver.
Lots of things need to happen, Kreese needs to be exonerated and the girl needs to bring to light the referee payoff.

I guess. But I don’t like that Krese would be a good guy.
I think Krese is Johnny’s dad. That will be the big reveal on why he always had a weakness for him.

Everyone seems to do so eventually. Sounds like Terry Silver is going to bring back Mike Barnes for Season 5!
Oh that's a good one as he was playing with GI Joe in the kid scene. Maybe foreshadowing. We never got what the letter really said. Just that the Captain used it to throw Kreese off his game before the death fight, by telling him she was dead.(Captain said this when he originally reads letter that it could get him killed) May have just been a Dear John letter. Time frame would jive as well.
Barnes comes back to join forces with Silver. Johnny and his kid have a bonding road trip to find Miquel, square off against some Mexican baddies to get him back as dad turns out to be a bad man like mom said. Obviously, the main story will be team Silver/Barnes vs. Daniel/Chozen. At some point forget his name(kid who beats the crap out of Jonnies kid), he gets released from juvy and joins his little brother in Cobra Kai becoming the new bad ***.

Think it is like the Degrassi series. Degrassi had numerous series spin-offs. That is why I think Cobra Kai goes past season 5. Lots of new characters in season 4.
Now that would explain whyJohn Kreese was so tough on Johnny … both named John never thought of that as a storyline. But it does make sense .
I think the kid in juvy(one who beat Johnnie's kid's ***) gets out, joins his little brother at Cobra Kai. Viciously mows through everyone and that's the only move that can stop him.
I'm talking about his older brother who was in juvenile detention with Johnnies son. He was due to be released but got a couple extra months for hitting a guard.
I definitely think we see Barnes coming into season 5. I do agree on the kid getting out of Juvy and becoming the lead of Cobra Kai now with his brother. That seems to make sense.
I also see them introducing new kids to Cobra Kai since they won the tourney and will be expanding so expect some new faces to help them grow especially now that Johnny will be in Mexico

Yep......Juvie kid getting out and leading Cobra Kai. Twist will be that his brother will switch to Miagi Do while Daniel's kid (son) will switch to Cobra Kai.
No one is addressing Kreese arrest and referee paid off to fix match.
Both will be huge story lines.
Also Cobra Kai needs a Sensei, Silver will be taken down….that’s the big story imo
Kreese arrest and corrupt ref prob won’t have major storyline issues beyond another round of switching sides. E.g., Tory ends up under the wing of Mrs. Larusso given her family dynamic.
Season 4 was awesome in my opinion. Better directed, better plot lines, plus Silver was a strong presence. As far as Cobra Kai and a leader, that was addressed at the very end of Season 4...at Miyagi 's grave.
My impression is Chozen will team with Miyagi-Do
Wont that be season 5 and the miagydo and eagle going together seeing as Silver cheated. Doesnt take rocket scientist to see the bullies kid from Cobra Kai will be new leader and will have to fight LaRusso's son Anthony
Lot more 80's stuff and Johnny not being up to date on today's politically correct world. And it's hilarious as he doesn't give two sh*ts about being up to snuff.
Just finished season 4. Really enjoy the show. I think the predictions for season 5 sound great.

Agree...but I think since there was an agreement that Daniel and Johnny can't be sensei's since Cobra Kai won ... Chozen will lead a combined Miyagi-Do / Eagle Fang since he has both the offense that Johnny goes by and to some extent the defense of Miyagi-Do. Something will happen with Kreese getting out of jail and as indicated in the final fights he had started to soften (letting Tory fight how she wanted to fight as well as his softening up to some extent with Johnny)...he'll join forces with Chozen (Johnny and Daniel) to get revenge on Silver. Johnny's son moves back to Johnny's side and fights under Chozen
Pretty good script idea . You may be correct or way off though . What people possibly want ( logically) is Kreese to become a “good guy” and we find out his actual reasons for being tough on Johnny. Are they related in some way? Or was Kreese a victim of an over indulgent or abusive father? Or this could go in an entirely different direction. How about if Chozen and Silver team up against Daniel, Johnny and Kreese. Robbie and young Mr. Diaz at the end turn into a newer version of Johnny vs Daniel relationship. Who would have believed after almost 40 years people who saw those original films could still find some relief in a make believe tv show. Only in America…
The show needs to get Steven Seagal in there. Van Damme and Chuck Norris too. None of those guys are busy.
Great thoughts...endless possibilities. For instance nothing that obligates Daniel and Johnny to no longer be sensei's....just a gentleman's agreement that can be blown up when they find Silver cheated / paid off ref.
Van Damme might already be suing Netflix for the un-authorized use of his NIL and intellectual property.

Nah..bringing back the original cast bit by bit has kept this show very interesting. Don't need outsiders infiltrating the series.
