Anyone ever look into owning a Chick-fil-A franchise? There is one on Route 10 in Morris County that - no matter what time of day it is - has a dual drive-through that is at least 25 cars deep. It's unreal how that place is always busy. They must print money.

Someone , PLEASE open one on Route 37 in Toms River! The only one in the area is in Gridlocktown aka Brick. Every conceivable fast food place is in Toms River except Chick-Fil-a. Heck, they could put one by the college AND one on Route 37 and they would both be goldmines.

It a long process that involves interviewing you and your family. My co worker brothers family made it to the 4th round of interviews. I believe there are 6 rounds. They are looking for a strong family to run the business and being the face of the restaurant. They pick you rather then you picking them and buying in. Here the franchisee is a Mennonite family. You always see the husband and wife working along with many of their kids and fellow church members. Chik Fil A really value the people over how much assets you have like many franchises.

Chick Fil -A is a goldmine where I am ... very seldom are there any days when the lines are not full of cars. It has been 3 months since I said I’m stopping for their Chicken tenders and chicken noodle soup. I love the Mac n cheese but only on really cold days .

The one in Howell is always jam packed. During normal times at lunch you'll see 20 cars in line. Think it might be faster inside, nope at least 15 to 20 deep. Like @RUBOB72 said the place is a goldmine. We also have a Popeyes but no one goes there, it's dirty and the people are rude.

that one is ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous. for like a month after they opened, they had police directing traffic for the drive thru.

Check this out. It's only $10,000 but you really don't get the ownership rights that most franchisees get. And it's easier to get into Harvard Business School that get a Chick-Fil-A franchise.

Like most well run businesses especially family type owner operators want others who share those similar ideals, goals and values. The high selectivity eliminates many franchise type issues down the road.I have seen it up front and personal.

Kole, my sister and her family moved to Howell about 20 or so years ago. What is it with that spot the Popeyes is in? An Arby’s was there and left. A Burger King was there and left. I might have missed another.

Every place that has been there has been shittilly run. Each one has the same aspects which makes it so ******. I liked Arby's but it was dirty and the people who worked there were rude. Popeyes has taken that same business model and run with it.

It's not like the food was bad as it's tough to **** up fried chicken. But I went there, **** all over the place, got some attitude and said, "Well that's enough for me". I don't see them making it, probably become another Bank, Medi Merge or Pharmacy since 40 of those just isn't enough for Howell.

Kole, I also think Howell is running low on nail salons and pizza places. One other thing, I have never seen a town with so many furniture/carpet places that have Going out of Business sales for 10 or 12 months, finally close , and then re open with a new name a week later lol

It's insane how busy the one in Brick is. They need one in every town.

Here's a great copycat recipe for their nuggets. Pickle Juice is the key.

I never had Chik Fil A believe it or not. But it never ceases to amaze me how popular some chains are in our area with all of the other excellent food choices around. It was the same thing when Sonic opened up on 22 in Green Brook - traffic jams and police directing traffic.

Can't wait to see when they finally build the one that is rumored to go into North Brunswick...however by the time that happens I'll be moved down to Charlotte, NC and could pick about 15 to go to in a 20 minute drive.

Also, if anyone has a Costco Membership, they sell this brand of nuggets which is pretty much a pretty damn close knock off version of the CFA nugs.

CFA and White Castle are two fast food places whose food makes me sick. Just can’t do it.

Nothing like a late night stop at White Castle for a sack of cheeseburgers . Guaranteed to clean out your lower colon.

The thing about White Castle was they were called sliders in a derogatory way. Now high end steakhouses serve “sliders”. Always thought that was strange.

True, but very expensive for what you get. Good local places, which you may or may not have, are a better deal.

Agreed. (At least here in Georgia) It seems the best time to buy a Jersey Mike's sub is when they've been open for 3 months or less. You'll get a sub with enough meat on it to seem like you went to a NJ sub shop / deli. After a few months they start cutting back on the meat and you end up with an expensive Blimpie (are they still around?) / Subway.

Food is good , but not worth the insane waits in my opinion.
Its a chicken sandwich. Will never wait in line....stupid sheep

For fast food its pretty damn good. And don't be fooled by the lines, they are the most efficiently run fast food operation in the USA. You may see 2 lines of 15 cars each but you are in and out in 5 minutes. I've waited longer at a Wendys line and I was the only car there.

I grew tired of the Chick Fil A in Manhattan and haven't had it for a year now (working from home). But it was always very crowded around lunch time but the lines moved quickly. I actually like Popeye's better and the one near me is well run. Not very healthy unfortunately.

One guy here in STL suggested outsourcing COVID vaccinations to Chick Fil A Even if there are 10-15 cars in each of two lanes you never wait more than 5-8 minutes. Insanely efficient!

One opened late 2019 on Rt 17 Ramsey. Police stationed there and the two drive through lines snaked well out onto Rt 17 all day every day. During last spring and early summer where the only times I ever seen it without lines. As of this past fall, maybe Sept, it is packed full again non stop with police there again directing traffic.
I remember back in the early 2000's, I was doing a trade show down in Atlanta and they were the sponsor with the only hot food service at the site. The show went through the weekend. Unknown to many of us...that meant there was not going to be any hot food that Sunday as they used to hold very firm to not being open on Sundays. I never see one of them shutdown anymore.

Get the app on your phone. I place my order when I am 15 minutes away, drive to Chick Fil A, park in front of the store and the app notifies me when my food is ready to walk to the front door to get it. Quick and easy.
