If my son was a P5 level recruit, I would strongly influence him to play for BB at UNC.

Incidentally, he did get into UNC this spring but he’ll be going to Dartmouth (and will be playing football)
Dartmouth has a really nice indoor facility. I watched a camp there while my daughter was on a soccer recruiting trip. Thought they did some cool stuff. One thing, I found interesting is the coach makes you camp in uppers. That’s old school. Come to think of it, I remember parking next to a Delbarton family, mate it was you. Lol

But there is some local ordinance that probits games being played there. No problem with practices. The lax teams play outdoors in February. Maybe irrelevant for football.

Prior to all of this- his image was of a hard nosed AH but also an iconic figure in American sports. But, it now seems many more people in America are now following this saga then who even followed his football career.

How is is affecting his business life? Come on man- He is still BB and a great football mind. And if he wins, yes, NC will forgive all. But man...if you don't think that he is the butt of jokes and loses some player respect over this...then you are delusional. This girl is on the sideline with him.
Man I think the players feel like it none of their business, they came there play an win games. This type of stuff happens on every college campus

They want to win and they know they are going to have to do what Bb tells them to do…but, if you think for a second, that they aren’t all making fun of it. And to have his chick on the sideline with him.
That **** does happen on college campuses everywhere.
And players gossip like crazy…

Maybe BB should concentrate more on teaching and coaching than turning UNC into the Graduate School of Azz.

Over/under on Belicheck having to step down due to "health issues" a la Urban Meyer at Florida set at Thanksgiving.
He won't step down for health- there will be a different reason. I wonder if this horrific start to the season puts the hard halt on his son being the next HC...
With Bill B- the man knows football inside and out. Even players that hate him will tell you that. But- any success he has had as a head coach ties to exactly 1 single player.
His success as a DC was more about the talent he had to coach- LT was not coached, he played football only one way- see football, get football. Then you had guys like Burt/Marshall/Carson/Banks/Reasons/Pepper Johnson/LT/Kinard/Collins

He was not a guy who understood players that thought for themselves, he sees players like a mechanic sees a sparkplug. That does not work very well in college. Good riddance to the man if this is his last dance.

Divided locker room, disastrous results: Players, parents blame Belichick culture for UNC problems

Will they bring Mack Bwon back like a certain team in the B1G? This sounds familiar -mediocrity was better. 🤔😉

"He went 6-6 in his final season. In his six seasons during his second go-around at UNC, Brown won at least six games every year. 2022 was his most successful season: Carolina went 9-5, won the Coastal Division and lost in the Holiday Bowl. Brown's record versus NC State and inexplicable losses as a double-digit favorite to teams like James Madison were reasons you could point to why Carolina chose to move on."

That would be Mack's third stint at UNC.

Will they bring back Butch Davis is the question.

Have to see it to believe it. Trying to get out on technicalities without paying isn’t usually a winning strategy.

"Jones wrote, in his opinion, it is not a lock Belichick coaches UNC's road game at Cal on Friday night (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)."

Yea I don’t particularly believe it myself. Don’t see anyone else reporting such things, just this 247 news.

I’ll be surprised if they eat all the money to let him go at the end of the season, let alone during the season. Trying to find escape hatches through technicalities doesn’t usually work.

Those kind of things should be thought about before handing out contracts not after. No one seems to thinks about manageable outs should things turn sour just only as if everything always turns out roses.

If anything PE might helpful with is teaching these ADs how to negotiate a contract lol.

Also sounds like the UNCheats are lawywering up to find a way to wiggle out of the contract because it was not properly approved.
