I get the whole hot chick thing. Like HH says- his taste in women never changes.
But, BB built a lifelong image that is iconic. This has made him a joke.
Bang her and give her what she wants but don’t put her in your business life.
What image did BB build: a guy who looks awkward and uninterested in anything but coaching football? That's still there. Check. And now a 24 year old girlfriend. Check.

You saw a couple of interviews on TV and have no idea how this is affecting his business life. And UNC only cares if they win.

This thread is like an episode of The View.

Prior to all of this- his image was of a hard nosed AH but also an iconic figure in American sports. But, it now seems many more people in America are now following this saga then who even followed his football career.

How is is affecting his business life? Come on man- He is still BB and a great football mind. And if he wins, yes, NC will forgive all. But man...if you don't think that he is the butt of jokes and loses some player respect over this...then you are delusional. This girl is on the sideline with him.

Really just no to all of that. But you're entitled to freak out at all of this if you want.

I guess the interesting question as to your last point is whether the players are raking in so much NIL that they don't care either...that's the world we're in now.

If it was the NFL with all their money- they would still be making jokes about it and there would be a big flag on his tough guy rep. Not so much that he is dating this girl- that may get respect but to have her cc'd on emails, be on the sideline, controlling interviews. I guess it would be almost as bad if it was a 60 y/o woman doing the same thing.

I guess too it depends on whether she is involving herself in coaching. Like, is she telling the players how to position themselves etc? That would be wild.

If she's just bilking him for every last penny seems more like his kids should be concerned.

She has no place to be on the sideline or being cc’d on his emails.
And no matter how anyone spins it- it just isn’t normal.

I was told by multiple NJ HS coaches that he put on the most prepared, researched, and life/football/future balanced recruiting presentation they’ve ever seen. Who cares who he’s banging if he’s doing his job. Nobody cares when Kiffin was banging 18 year olds

Oh it's definitely extremely abnormal in the football context, but probably more normal in life than ever. Half of Gen Z women dating are not dating Gen Z men.

I feel sorry for him and his family if they're victims of a crime. If she's just a gold digger, they need to wake up, get things in writing and get their dad help if he needs.

My Dad married our step Mom who was 20 years younger than him. My Mom passed very young.
She took over his every thought and aspect of his life. It was a nightmare that everyone but he could see.

Let me see- the kids he promised his dying wife he would protect were pushed away from, he was isolated away from all of “His” friends. Ignored abuse and allowed this woman to destroy everything he loved until he was in his last days and was asking forgiveness.
You have become a real *******. What is up with that? We may not agree with politics but you know that was an ******* comment when it was directly about family.

TBH.....if I'm 73 and single and financially secure with a pretty hot 25 year old girlfriend - not sure I'm looking at it that way. Even if she's a gold-digger and pain in the arse. You only live once.
Man let him be great, it's his life who are we to judge.

It wasn’t an ******* comment. I’ve seen many kids get pissed at their living parent because they chose a new younger spouse. Many times it’s the kids who are wrong. They are pissed because of losing “their” money or any other myriad of reasons. Usually 3 sides to every story. We are actually living through this right now on my wife’s side.
And I haven’t changed one bit on these boards, you on the other hand decided to become a social justice warrior…..

I am really sorry to hear that and know unfortunately of too many families with these troubling dynamics.

It has to be wild for Belichek's son, who is younger than his step mom. The one thing is, his family has the resources to lawyer up, hire therapists and other professionals to do something to get their rights and protect their father. Will they though is the question.

No, definitely an overly presumptuous ******* comment.

Agree that you haven't changed, though.

He knows it was a dick response. I will clear up some of it…my Dad was a lifelong Butcher at Grand Union/Shoprite etc..,money had nothing to do with it.
I could give so much more info but not going to do it. Dude was being a dick directed at me because we don’t agree on his cult leader.

Yea. That’s it. Your TDS has really broken you. This has nothing to do with Trump, who I think acts like an *** way too often. But for you, everything is politics and white knighting and social justice these days. Must be exhausting.

Hats off to him. I knew he was a great football coach. Now we realize he’s a stud with game.

I’m seeing this play out on my wife’s side of the family. A relative is pretty wealthy, was an ok father and crappy husband. Wife left him like 10 years ago. He paid for both his kids to go to college and grad school. Bought both cars and supported both well into their late 20’s while in school. 2 years ago he started dating a significantly younger hot chick with little kids. Everyone is all up in arms about it and him spending all the money on her kids and lavish crap for her. I mean, I think he’s an *** for doing it but it’s his money. He earned it and if he wants to kiss it away on tail that’s his prerogative.

If this doesn't end with two old men rolling around in the mud at a tailgate, doing what passes for fisticuffs at their age, I will be sorely disappointed.

If my son was a P5 level recruit, I would strongly influence him to play for BB at UNC.

Incidentally, he did get into UNC this spring but he’ll be going to Dartmouth (and will be playing football)

I doubt he even gets those 2 minutes of fun. I bet she makes sure he doesn’t take his phone into the *******

The whole story of these two is disturbing

BB banging a baddie has some of these betas triggered lol
He's the male Cher (78) who went for young love (38)
Madonna (66 )got a young one herself, he's 28

I don't see his sons quitting their jobs in protest, until they do Bill's coaching is the only thing I'll critique .
Maybe Bill will have his college Tom Brady flinging the ball for the Tar Heels in 2025 and be considered the QB whispers , instead of a dirty old man 😁
