Big East continues to shrink as a power basketball conference.
Yet
Yet Creighton and Villanova still top 20 teams. I do not understand that.
One or two highly ranked teams does not make a good conference.
Gonzaga is a national power but the WCC is weak.
Feels like a Sheridan type thread right hereAt least Marquette has held McClung scoreless.
Most of that conference this year is Ugly basketball. Such horrid basketball. Besides UConn, Nova and Creighton, that is 1 awful conference.Marquette vs Georgetown
pretty ugly basketball so far

SJU is going to run them out of the gym
The Big East is fine, it’s still like the fourth best conference this year and was second best last year. It is clearly still a power conference.
There's only 5 power conferences. The Big East claiming there are 6 power conferences is like the AAC claiming there are 6 power conferences. Only difference is the basketball nerds wax poetic and long for the old Big East so they pump up the conference to be something it isn't.

Thank you! No reason for this board to be talking about the Big East more than our own conference tournament. We should literally NEVER have threads about this conference again.
Thank ESPN.Big East continues to shrink as a power basketball conference.
