These teams miss more layups and open shots than we do. Just an ugly display of basketball so far. I didn’t expect a Wojo coached team to lack aggressive play.

I don’t think I have seen this many players falling down or just on the floor (not diving for loose balls).

Georgetown player almost pulled a Potsie Weber on a layup, almost threw it over to backboard. This would be comical if it wasn’t so bad.

Marquette shot at the end of the half, commentator said that wasn’t a brick it was a Boulder. 14 points at the half.

Most of that conference this year is Ugly basketball. Such horrid basketball. Besides UConn, Nova and Creighton, that is 1 awful conference.

Really haven’t watched much of the big east, just some in passing. Guess I am spoiled watching the B1G.

Do we get updates from the MAAC and Ohio valley tournaments? Or any other mid major league .. Villanova Butler/Creighton will be a nice champ game but up until then it’s basketball worse to watch than some good AAU games

Wednesday and Thursday of the BET were my favorite days of the sports calendar for a while. Loved it when there were 13 teams in the tournament and 4 thru 13 were playing that first day. Then when they pared it down to 12 there were only 4 games but it felt like the competition was a little better, no one was there by default. Then on Day 2 you would get the big fish on the court against upset-minded teams and sometimes some legit top 25 matchups. The energy of the Garden... the day games making it feel like a holiday... it was a holiday in my house.

The Big East is fine, it’s still like the fourth best conference this year and was second best last year. It is clearly still a power conference.

There's only 5 power conferences. The Big East claiming there are 6 power conferences is like the AAC claiming there are 6 power conferences. Only difference is the basketball nerds wax poetic and long for the old Big East so they pump up the conference to be something it isn't.

Nah the difference is the Big East actually plays good basketball. They have way more case for being a basketball power conference than the Pac 12 does.

Alternatively we could not play board police and just not enter threads about conference tournaments we don't care about.

The Big East tournament is well underway with NCAA implications and our tournament is just the bottom-feeders tonight.

If we are truly secure in the fact that we are in a better place now then presumably we could talk about the Big East normally instead of pretending it's a mid major conference and telling people not to talk about it.
