Let's legalize murder. The anti-murder laws are clearly not working. Same thing for pedophilia, rape, jaywalking, speeding and embezzlement.

I think you're really onto something here.

Not constitutional rights

Murder.
Rape.
Jaywalking
Speeding.

Constitutional Rights
Gun ownership

Refrain from using facts.

Let's stick to the globalist mindset.

It's worked wonders so far.

Let us also realize that religion (which I detest as much as Atheists) has not killed more people than any vehicle throughout history.

GOVERNMENTS have embarked on far greater mass genocide, killing more of their own citizens than religions (from Salem witch trials to modern day Islamic extremish) has killed ... and has done so MANY times over.

THAT is what we will see.

Not ever gonna come here? Nothing will change?

How foolish are people? From my vantage point in Mom's basement, the answer is pretty damn foolish.

The constitution also used to allow for slavery & women not having the right to vote. Let's not pretend a document - written in an era where the greatest forms of firepower were muskets and trebuchets - is infallible.

In fact - let's all go back to muskets. Have as many as you want. Let's just not go past that.

We're in an era where the GOP controls all 3 branches of government and almost 2/3rds of all state houses in the country. Yes, I will bet my entire life savings absolutely nothing will change in this environment.

Say what you want about those people you reference, but I bet those old farts knew what a penis and ****** were and which restrooms they were supposed to use had a Target been located down the block.

What a stupid, stupid society in which we dwell.

Spiritually dead, intellectually bankrupt, and not a crumb of wisom.

It doesn't, because that's not true. Plenty of German citizens had guns during Nazi rule.

This whole thread is kind of useless in a way & gun owners shouldn't be worried. Not a thing will change.

Thank God for the United States Constitution. The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. So thankful for having such wise forefathers. The 2nd amendment of the Bill of Rights shouldn’t confuse the communists that we are forced to cohabitate in this country nowadays. But, it just seems they do get confused and somehow believe the constitution is still being negotiated in Philadelphia.

You honestly believe that the Left Wing and Right Wing aren't wings off the same damn bird?

You can't see that in the current political climate?

The overwhelming majority of them are bought and paid for by the same banking industry and hawkish military industrial complex.

Remember me when it all spirals downward. My lunacy could be your lifejacket one day.

It's called an "amendment" for a reason.

Do we know the skin color and the religious background of the shooter yet? I need to know whether to attribute this to a lone wolf with a mental health problem or Islamic terrorism. Also need to know whether to politicize this immediately or not to because I’m no monster with an agenda.

You cant buy autotmatic weapons now. Laws wont stop criminals.

Exactly. What many don't understand is the ability for law abiding citizens to own firearms is a deterent
I phrased what I said poorly. I meant people who talk about trying to change gun laws are wasting their breath. Nothing is going to change legislatively and these events only serve as a reminder that we're the only first world country where this regularly happens.

You are correct and I'm certainly glad nothing will happen. If somebody wants to sell back their guns, let us gun owners know......we'll buy them back. Oh, and by the way, the only way most of us would make the news would be by knocking off one of these crazy assed SOB's before they had the opportunity. BTW, have you ever investigated who politofact, snopes and the likes are? What is their background? Are they biased? Don't say they aren't biased. Everyone is biased. I'm biased and your biased in some way. Hell, the legal system in this country went from determining right from wrong to making everything F$cking thing a grey area. There is no right and wrong anymore.......just lawyers finding areas to debate and make some money. These are the same ones that are now in our government and we wonder why we don't get anything done.......because we got a bunch new age law experts that don't know right from wrong and were responsible for screwing their local systems up before they went national with it.

Those seeking to "make over" the United States don't desire gun reduction ... they desire gun confiscation ... and I'm not even a gun enthusiast, just observant and awake.

The systemic dismantling of Europe is directly correlated to the social upheaval we see here. Trust me, once they ACTUALLY try and make a move towards substantially reduciing guns, they will not stop until they take the guns ... and that's not some "conspiracy" (there's that dumbass term again) it's a historical fact.

The Left loves to throw around the term "Hitler" to anybody who disagrees with them. Well, since they know so much about Hitler, they should know that he infamously stated that the first step in comandeering a country's population is to disarm it ... and it's not just Democrats that want this initiated. There's PLENTY of Republicans who'd love to see gun control morph into gun confiscation.

If you're into logic and historical fact, I'm sure that will make sense to you.

The Constitution allowed at that time for muskets and basically single shot pistols. As was stated previously blacks were slaves owned by citizens and women couldn't vote. As the old saying goes....."Adapt or die". And we are dying. Obviously INNOCENT society is being massacred by military/assault weapons in the hands of common citizens, many who have NO prior criminal history. I can accept gun ownership..... but there is no need for assault/military style weaponary in the hands of everyday citizens. Other world leading advanced countries understand and follow these laws basically. We are the outliers. JMO

The shooter has a very common name among those who practice the islamic faith: "Devin Patrick Kelley"

Yes, but remember ... it's "conspiracy".

Europe is essentially now a collectivist wasteland and that is the template they (globalists) are trying so desperately to install here.

America will fall. The only question now is how long.

Luckily, my loyalty does not rest with government or religion. The wheat is slowly going to being separated from the tares.

One thing is certain with your scenario and I don't give a flying fu*k who disagrees: Cowardly acts like this one in the Texas church would end up with less innocent people dead. Criminals are NEVER going to follow the rules/laws anyway, that's what makes them criminals.

Law abiding & legally armed citizens could make the idiots who are considering a cowardly act such as this one at least "think twice" about going through with it and that may end up being all it takes to thwart an attacker. Nobody who does crap like this is looking for just one or two victims OR worse for them, possibly zero AND if the right person (law abiding) is there the criminal runs the risk of his plan not working. Again, nobody who considers cowardly acts like these wants to end up failing.
So much for the theory that criminals won't attack/assault/target those with guns. I can't think of a state with more pepole carrying than Texas.

There are plenty of reasons to oppose gun control. Why people pick the dumbest arguments to do so cracks me up.

Europe is in trouble

Europe is no longer even salvagable. First step.

5 years ago when I mentioned the term "Globalist" it harkened up images of those nutters like David Icke or Alex Jones and his ilk.

However, it was real then and it's abundantly more real now ... so much that it is being propagated openly by the "leaders".

We have that charlatan in Rome calling for globalist concepts and the Left (and a growing number on the Right) are clamoring for it here.

It's going to happen ... and this country is going to pay such a steep price. Daughter of Babylon time.

So is free speech. Battle flag of northern Virginia, anyone?

Was the Battle Flag of Northern Virginia banned?

We live in an Amazing resilient nation that evolves daily. We're so confident in our evolution we allow monuments of separatist "heroes" who chose to lead average and poor Southern men to their death to preserve slavery. These "honorable" Men clearly could have influenced or altered a secessionist movement , but lacked vision, courage and moral integrity to end slave labor of African Americans. These same "men" had no reservations leading poor uneducated white men to their deaths to defend their appetite to preserve centuries of generational dehumanizing systematic slave labor.

Yes, we live in a resilient and "tolerant" country.

We have a cop at my church and he carries concealed to church just in case. I was asked if I would and at the time I did not see a need for it. Since then we had a mosque built beside our church and were some what harrassed by the people who attended the mosque and now this makes me reconsider carrying to church.
I carry in church every Sunday my Minister carries in church and three or four other people plus a police officer.

I blame Trump...

-But really, I blame social media/the internet and all the other 24/7/365 sources of news available on cable, satellite and online... and then all of us sitting in front of our radios, TVs and laptops, hearing about it, seeing it, or reading about it, and then talking about it nonstop on social media and at work.
-Before these disturbed, ignored, lonely and angry-about-it people were being analyzed, glorified and immortalized by all the 24 hour news channels, and by us on social media, they were either killing one other person and then themselves or blowing their own brains out or slashing their own wrists in the privacy of their own bathtubs or bedroom closets.
-However, suicides are too mundane to garner nationwide or worldwide attention, so now these crazy bastards are upping the ante, seeking infamy (and therefore immortality) by killing more and more people before killing themselves. It's like a contest now and it's fueled by all of us. It's not really our fault, but these folks are actually killing all these innocent people, because it's the kind of stuff that grabs our attention and gets us talking, tweeting or posting (like right here, right now).
-How many streakers do you see at sporting events nowadays, as opposed to the hundreds running naked throughout the 1960s - 1980s? None, unless you're actually in attendance at one of the very rare sporting events that includes a streaker. Once the networks stopped showing streakers on TV, for even one nano-second, people stopped streaking. Not a perfect analogy, but it serves.
-So there's your answer. What do I win?

I do. And we have private armed personnel throughout the sanctuary and around the Children who are in Sunday school during services exactly for that reason. I also know many Brothers who carry and sit in the pews along with me armed and loaded. He comes into our place of Worship, we're going to light his *** up!

Ill just say it's pure Evil in one of its many manifestations today. If it wasn't guns, some nut would be chopping people up or poisoning them to death. Evil...there are no limits.

Too true.
But consider this...
The world isn't as bad as it used to be. It's also not as good as it was when at its best. However, there are a few things to consider before adopting the popular belief that the world is going to hell in a hand basket moreso now than in the 1950s, 1800s, 1500s, 1000s, 500s, etc.
1. 24/7/365 news. Nowadays we see and/or hear and/or read about every-single evil thing that occurs anywhere in the world. That wasn't the case even twenty years ago, much less the period between Day 1 AD and 1990-2017 AD. So, now, we see more evil, hear about more evil, read about more evil, and therefore assume that there is more evil. As recently as the late 1950s, there were undetected and undocumented serial killers running around in droves and far more attempts at genocide than nowadays... but nobody knew about it. We had no clue.
2. There actually "is" more evil. How can there not be? There were only 1 billion people on the planet in 1804. There were only 2 billion people in 1927. There were only 3 billion in 1960. Six billion in 1999. Now we have right around 7.6 billion people on this planet of ours. More people = more evil.
Also, people are inherently evil. No one likes to hear this, but it's true. All of us are. If you're a old-testament-believing religious person, then you know that God didn't just fart out 10 arbitrary commandments. The ten commandments were the ten evil things that people were doing that God and Moses wanted to see stopped. Moving on to the new testament, if we weren't inherently evil, God wouldn't have had to come to earth in human form (Jesus), be crucified and die for the forgiveness of our sins. He had to do it, because we sin a lot. If we weren't inherently evil, we wouldn't have such a hard time "not sinning" - not doing evil things. Very simple concept, really.
3. Hey, at least nowadays families go to ballgames, movies, theme parks, etc. for entertainment instead of going to the coliseum with a basket full of eggs and rotting vegetables to throw at peasants as they were either being ripped apart by lions or fighting each other to the death. At least we've got that going for us in this modern world.
4. Better weapons. Period. It's easier for only one person to cause more collateral damage nowadays than ever before. Automatic weapons. Bombs. Dirty bombs, etc. All it took was one person to kill 58 people and injure nearly 500 others in Vegas a month ago. One person to kill 26 people in a Texas church a couple days ago. Two people to kill 3 people and wound 364 others at the Boston Marathon in 2013 . One person to kill 49 people in an Orlando nightclub last year.
5. We're more aware of the fighting and attempted genocides in the middle east now moreso than ever before. These people have been killing each other for millennia, but we didn't know about it and now they have nukes.

I might be right. I might be wrong. Maybe a combo of the two. Just one man's opinion. But, again, at least we're not stoning peasants for fun anymore.

Very well illustrated. Can't disagree with much if anything of this except we need a Savior now more than ever.

Nice job!
