It’s just amazing how these teams are adding college/pro staffers and Rutgers is in limbo..especially with the portal opening.

Edit - spoke too soon lol

Interesting self analysis…he seems to have a specific view of self and how he’s viewed by others…
"Somebody once told me that every year that goes by as a coach, 10 percent of the fan base starts to hate you. So after 20 years, they all hate you."

Somebody has been at Rutgers for 17 years.

FOMO has led to many raises this year…many raises. That sexton dude (I imagine someone with a newsom-like evil smirk and oil-slick hair) just wall papering his house with $20s. Even Bonilla and his agent are impressed.

No DeBoer and now no Dillingham for sure so what’s next for Michigan. Fisch? Whittingham?

I think Eck would be a good choice but doubt they’d take that kind of leap of faith.
Portnoy threw Jeff Monken’s name out there if they don’t have a bigger splash hire lined up. Seems to me like they don’t at this point.

Seeing Jason Taylor on Miami’s sideline makes me wonder when he gets a bigger opportunity. Third year as their defensive line coach.
Seems to have roots in Miami, as he coached HS football in the area. Think Hetherman will get HC opportunities, and they may move him up to DC.

Though he's 66 , Whittingham might be the best candidate out there now and one the fanbase can get behind .
For Kyle, a chance to have a legitimate shot at a NC run that would have been very hard to do if he stayed with the Utes
> Kyle Whittingham, who is stepping down as Utah head coach at the end of the season, has expressed interest in the Michigan job, according to Andrew Birkle, Marlowe Alter and Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press.<

If he jumps, my money would be on Tommy Rees to ne Notre Dame's next HC.

Of course Brian Kelly might deny being a southern comforter now that Baton Rouge told his yankee butt to leave
and claim to be be Lou Holtz's statue come to life , wanting the job back.

All Belichick needs to do is keep his girlfriend away from the biker

>Petrino replaces Freddie Kitchens, who was not retained after one season on the job. North Carolina finished 120th nationally at 4.94 yards per play and 121st at 19.3 points per game. North Carolina went 4-8 on the season.

Under Petrino’s guidance, Arkansas put up some of the greatest single-season offensive numbers in program history in 2024.<

Michigan HC job still up for grabs
Poggi wants to clean house and feels he deserves to be considered for the job.

But Biff has been part of the action they he feels disqualified some from consideration, that in itself should disqualify him according to how he feels the house needs cleaning

<Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich, a former Wolverines GA who predates the Harbaugh era, has been a popular name >

Now that makes more sense of why PSU was looking at Lynn. Wonder if they would look at Kwiaykowski as well.

When he left Utah and didn't retire, I felt he was looking to be the Wolverine HC and making it easier for all involved to do so
>With character beyond reproach, a spotless track record with the NCAA and 177 wins atop the Utah program, Whittingham is a model of stability who is viewed by many in Michigan circles as precisely what the program needs amidst the enduring stretch of turbulence in the program. <
now this might just cement Wittinghan's move into the Michigan HC position, because I don;t think the Louisville HC will leave that program.
>Elsewhere in Michigan's process, former national championship-winning defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has been persistently linked to the opening atop the Wolverines program.
But NFL sources this week told FootballScoop that Minter has privately disclosed he would not accept the Michigan job at this time; his stock is soaring in NFL circles<
