Paywall but the gist:

Lane Kiffin is UF's #1 choice and LSU may try as well but he's very happy at Ole Miss with family around so who knows.

VT really wants James Franklin but he seems to be slow playing it to see what other jobs might open, specifically FSU. VT may move on if takes too long. Chesney in the mix here as well.

PSU has looked at a lot of candidates like Chesney, Key, Fitzgerald, Stein and Hartline. Daboll possibly in the mix too. He was OC at Alabama in a championship year.

Daboll is a new name and might be very attractive to pSU

"Penn State also has some interest in former Nittany Lion tight end Al Golden, now the Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator. The 56-year-old Golden turned around a downtrodden Temple program two decades ago and later took the Miami job, but struggled to gain traction there."

"One wild card in the mix is former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, who was the offensive coordinator at Alabama in 2017 and helped lead the Tide to a national title. The 50-year-old is believed to have an interest in the job and is expected to get some consideration in Happy Valley."

Also under consideration and former Rutgers head coaches Chris Ash and Kyle Flood. -----why not add them to the list?
Please make the Al Golden rumor true. Golden is the definition of do less with more.

I know you jest with Ash/Flood…But it wouldn’t be crazy to see Flood make a move soon to take a HC position in a lower division. I actually think that after getting so much more experience- he may actually do well.

You may remember posters called me Mrs. Flood and Floodie during his tenure. I still have his bobblehead proudly displayed in my office! My only beef with the guy is his taste in music- Counting Crows!!!

You are off of speed dial for concerts! Their song Mrs and Flood and me wa pretty good though.

You have a good memory. Still have the burned bobblehead head on my office. Don't know what ever happened with the Dwight Gooden bobblehead.

A&M should pump the brakes. Ellko was busy planning his new home instead of game planning this week

James Madison coach Bob Chesney, whose team moved up to No. 21 in the lastest AP Top 25 rankings as the Group of Five's top playoff threat, is being targeted by UCLAfor its coaching vacancy while also potentially being in the mix at Penn State. Chesney is UCLA's leading candidate, according to 247Sports.

"I'm hearing Bob Chesney at UCLA … he's got to make a decision," Rick Neuheisel said Saturday. "With Mike Elko reupping with Texas A&M, it seems like Penn State's still got a spot and Chesney's from the state of Pennsylvania, so maybe he's waiting for something a little bit closer to home."

I wouldn't be surprised to find out Franklin accepted a 6 year contract at $6 mil a year to coach the Hokies ,
and only losing $3 million, of his $49 mil PSU buyout, when all is said and done.

And he was head of the cfp committee.

Had an affair with an elementary school teacher in Waco.

Got caught at the CFP meeting in Grapevine, TX a few weeks ago.

Paywall but the gist of some things

Was wondering if Moorhead might reunite with Franklin....possibly that or if Mora gets another job, Moorhead could end up at UConn.

Mora getting interest from Oregon St and Stanford

I've been hearing in pods and stuff about Chesney being targeted by UCLA but he's waiting to see if PSU wants him. Sean Lewis could be another option for UCLA among a couple others like Morris or Silverfield. Usually see Silverfield tied to Arkansas and Morris to Ok St.
