Birthright citizenship upheld. SUPCO says if you are born in US, you are an American citizen
I can't believe this was challenged. The Constitution couldn't have been any clearer.

Unless the point was to bring attention to it.

Will require an ammendment. It's not exactly clear, especially how it's used by the Left to grant citizenship to illegals who cross the border just to give birth and de facto also become citizens themselves.🤨

It's up to Congress to stop that caca (chain migration) through legislation. However on birthright citizenship, while I disagree with the majority ruling here, it was upheld based on how the 14th ammendment is written.

If we want that changed, we'll have to ammend the Constitution. Not so easy to do.

There is no question the Constitution is outdated. That was written in a time when it took a month to cross the Atlantic and ordinary citizens provided the military protection the country. Several of the Bill of Rights definitely need tweaked and there are a lot of little things throughout the Articles like pardons that need addressed.

The problem is Congress hasn't passed a real law in decades so nothing will change and we will continue to be ruled by Executive Order.

Just drop an executive order to limit all immigration requiring proof of non-pregnancy for all travel into the country. Like a vaccine limitation. Write it the exact same way as the left did, just change the wording to reflect pregnancy.

Yup, that would work. I can also see some type of legislation perhaps in the next Congress banning both chain migration and birth tourism.

I did not know this until I heard a guest on Sirius Patriot 125 this morning saying there is already a Law on the books preventing "birth tourism"! Like most immigration Laws today, it is randomly enforced. 🤨

Understanding the U.S. Birth Tourism Visa Ban

excerpt:
US birth tourism visa ban rules now require every pregnant visitor to prove her trip is genuine tourism, not an attempt to secure citizenship for her baby. In January 2020 the Department of State amended its B-1/B-2 visitor-visa regulation so that consular officers must refuse a visa if they have reason to believe the applicant’s primary purpose is giving birth for citizenship benefits.

*so the issue here isn't as much of a misreading of the 14th amendment, it's a refusal to enforce existing U.S. Immigration Law!
(from linked article)
"Congressional investigations estimated the industry generated hundreds of millions of dollars a year and involved organized schemes that coached women to deceive officers about their due dates, accommodations, and finances. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) prosecutions in California and Florida revealed operators charging up to $80,000 for “package deals” that included hospital deposits and luxury housing."

So what we have going on here with so called "birthright citizenship" is another Leftist/Socialist scam to undermine America!
