they cannot win being honest about what they actually want to do or what they actually believe. Massive income re-distribution, cradle-to-grave caretaker society, complete and absolute government authority and control over virtually all aspects of economic and social Life, dismantling of the Capitalist free enterprise model where private property rights, personal wealth, and individual achievement are not only rewarded but encouraged and celebrated.
They reject all of it in favor of collectivism and all incomes being given rough equivalence...equality of outcomes in all human endeavors. It's at the core of their belief system. No nation states, one World nation. No individuals...a society of like-minded, like thinking people all doing for each other. No personal wealth accumulation, shared wealth for the good of the society. No denominations...one Faith, one allegiance, one purpose. Support of the State which oversees all and guarantees that no one is left out or treated any better than anyone else.
Why won't they admit this is their vision, their desire to see America "transformed"? They can't be honest about it because almost instinctively they know the American people would reject it. They also know it doesn't work, it can't work. But they figure in their arrogance that just not the right people have run it correctly yet and of course they are the "right" people who can make it all work together as it's intended.
They'll never get the chance. NEVER. So they lie and try to sugarcoat it as "Democratic Socialism" or "Progressivism" or some other such gobbledygook. If it walks like a Socialist, and talks like a Socialist, it's a walkin', talkin' Socialist pushing Socialism.
Don't be fooled.
