I just received a text from a friend that said Omar Manning, unless his legal name is different, is no longer enrolled at Nebraska.
He also told me that Wandale is hurt too.
This is what I said - "I'll keep this sort of inside info to myself when he shares it with me".You literally called it inside information. Way to back step.

Sharing 'inside information' does NOT make someone an insider!
Don't put words in my mouth.
You do that yourself. This is what I said - "I'll keep this sort of inside info to myself when he shares it with me".

So do you have some kind of a connection with Pelini? If so, that would explain your dumb post and why you talk just like him.I’m VERY familiar with ALL of Pelini’s recruiting classes. The last 2 classes? You mean the ones that were sabotaged by Eichorst wanting to fire Bo? Your hatred of Pelini is clouding your little brain. Tell me about the other classes he recruited.
I wouldn't be surprised if Eichorst tried the old no Juco trick with Pelini too. Regardless blaming a guy 5+ years removed from our program for our talent level now has got to be a joke.I’m VERY familiar with ALL of Pelini’s recruiting classes. The last 2 classes? Melvin Gordon just scored again.I’m VERY familiar with ALL of Pelini’s recruiting classes. The last 2 classes? You mean the ones that were sabotaged by Eichorst wanting to fire Bo? Your hatred of Pelini is clouding your little brain. Tell me about the other classes he recruited.
Why his teams and esp his Defense got worse without Billy C’s recruits...,It’s not called hatred when it’s legit facts. The proof is in the pudding my friend. Look at the lack of talent that went through Mike Riley to Scott Frost. That falls squarely on Bo Pelini. Simply put, he was a horrible recruiter.
Because he lost his best coaches. We had Lavonte David or Randy Gregory on those defenses and were still mediocre. Why his teams and esp his Defense got worse without Billy C’s recruits...,
Or maybe because you need more than one really good player to be a really good defense.Because he lost his best coaches. We had Lavonte David or Randy Gregory on those defenses and were still mediocre.
We had other NFL players on those teams too. Gomes, Hagg, Prince, Dennard all were nobodies coming out of high school, but the best assistant coach we've had in decades, Marvin Sanders turned them all into complete studs. When Bo lost Sanders and even Carl, and replaced them with mediocre assistants, our defense fell off a cliff even though we had first round NFL talents in David and Gregory.Or maybe because you need more than one really good player to be a really good defense.
Come on man Billy C sucked @ DONU but dude could recruitBecause he lost his best coaches. We had Lavonte David or Randy Gregory on those defenses and were still mediocre.
Please don't even compare any of his Defenses to the one he had Suh's SeniorBecause he lost his best coaches. We had Lavonte David or Randy Gregory on those defenses and were still mediocre.

Is that insider talk?Kick rocks.
Yet we still got guys like David and Gregory under Pelini. Gregory didn't make our secondary look any better. We had a great D-line and a great secondary in 2009. The coaching is what fell off a cliff, as Pelini lost good or great assistants and replaced them with mediocre ones.Come on man Billy C sucked @ DONU but dude could recruit

You mean HS golf coaches don’t make good D1 FB coaches?Yet we still got guys like David and Gregory under Pelini. Gregory didn't make our secondary look any better. If they're getting old then simply ignore them.Is that insider talk?
I’ll edit to add, I’m mostly joking with you, but between the dumb rumors on Fleming & Manning, it’s gotten very old.
I am Bo Pelini you imbecile! Why don’t you tell me what’s dumb about it genius? So do you have some kind of a connection with Pelini? If so, that would explain your dumb post and why you talk just like him.
He was probably one of the better ones towards the end.You mean HS golf coaches don’t make good D1 FB coaches?
Here come the moron Riley lovers on the attack.
Why his teams won more than anyone since Solich...,Why his teams and esp his Defense got worse without Billy C’s recruits...,
Oh yes, idiots abound. They pop out when Pelini is mentioned. His record speaks for itself. In this thread Callahan and Riley were brought up - please! Those people have no shame! Those still exist?
Every situation is different. Some coaches are in a situation to win right away much more than others. Frost first season our record was not any better, but we played much better than the previous season, especially at the end of the year. Then there is a guy like Brady Hoke who won early, but turned out not to be a good coach at all. Making lemonade out of someone else’s lemons is great and all, but it is hardly the true measure of a good coach. Your 40 years of watching basketball and football should have taught you that there are a lot of factors that go into winning. Things like schedule and roster are huge factors and acknowledging that isn’t making excuses, it is living in reality.Great coached show immediate improvement.
You can make all the excuses you want.
Because their coaching makes a difference until they get their players
Watched it for 40 years in basketball and football.

Yup should have never got rid of himWhy his teams won more than anyone since Solich...,
And yet no power 5 offers for Head Coach, shouldn’t they be lining up to capitalize on our mistake? Why his teams won more than anyone since Solich...,
Oh. So you’re just a troll. My mistake for taking your post seriously.I am Bo Pelini you imbecile! Why don’t you tell me what’s dumb about it genius?
Bloody good work detective.Figured it out but had to go back to his high school days. His real name is Jordan Omar Manning. There is a Jordan Manning listed in the directory.
Yep, great and even some good coaches have taken over situations worse than ours and produced national championship caliber teams in just 2 or 3 years. It's extremely unlikely that a coach has as bad of years as Frost did in years 1 and 2, and goes on to become a great coach. I'm still holding out hope that it happens, but it's looking much more likely that Frost ends up just a good, mediocre, or even a bad coach. I think Frost can be a good coach for sure, but it needs to show up on the field starting this year. All the great coaches improve no.matter the situation.
Good coaches need time.
.
Simply not true. I have given you plenty of examples of coaches that took time to turn around programs or get over the hump. Why don’t you show us some examples of coaches you think took over situations worse than ours and won National Championships in 2 or 3 years. Hint there aren’t ANY. Stoops was about the only one close and that team was loaded with talent from Blake’s um “questionable” recruiting tactics.Yep, great and even some good coaches have taken over situations worse than ours and produced national championship caliber teams in just 2 or 3 years. hope Manning is available but
coach Frost has recruited 15 WRs including 6 - 4 stars + inherited a 2017 all big ten freshman WR and freshman all american
we should be absolutely loaded at this position - Manning would be nice this year but certainly shouldn't be necessary
Bob Stoops, Urban Meyer at Florida and Ohio State, Nick Saban, Pete Carroll.Simply not true. Not one of those was even close to being a situation “worse than ours”. Not even in the same Universe. The Ohio State program that had finished in the Top 10 six of the seven seasons prior to Urban Meyer taking the job was in worse shape than Nebraska before Frost got to town?? Wow, talk about not having a clueBob Stoops, Urban Meyer at Florida and Ohio State, Nick Saban, Pete Carroll.
