Everyone always freaks out and they shoot them. Even though they will keep coming and were probably around longer then people realized. I think these young males are wandering all over the Midwest.

And every time they see one or shoot one the wildlife agency will say it wandered from the Black Hills. Doesn't matter the state. I just imagine a mountain lion factory, like in a kids movie, in the Black Hills, pumping out little male mountain lions.

Yep. Have a friend who has lost 2 calves in 2 years in the same river pasture. One he found buried under a pile of brush.

I had a cow with scratch marks on each side of her shoulders and her calf had a wound on its flank. Thought it was strange and then a couple of days later ran into a game warden who told me a lion had attacked a neighbor’s calves about that same time.
Yeah, but it's one thing for the simple folk out in the sticks to have issues. This is west Omaha we're talking about!
