Really no different than any other "hate group" out there. Whether that be ANTIFA or whomever.
But, you don't try to drive them into the shadows. That's how they grow. They get the uneducated and the marginalized, pepper them with propaganda, and create an "us versus them" mentality while simultaneously telling them they are special and different.
That's how you get a Klansman. That's how you get an ANTIFA. That's how you get a MAGA. That's how you get a Socialist.
It's what the Klan has been doing for decades. It's what the left does in our "institutions of higher learning" today and for the past couple of decades.
The only answer is to bring them and their ideas into the light. Let them have a stage to express their crazy views then tear them to shreds with logic and principled arguments.

That part of the constitution was added after slavery ended. There's no reason for it now.

It was put in for one specific group of people to make sure they were considered citizens. There's nothing wrong with thinking that maybe the framers were correct the first time. More specifically, it was put in there to make sure slaves were not disenfranchised. Coming here just to have a baby is fraud.
You have not heard me saying SCOTUS will do anything. There has been talk about challenging that part of the constitution. I would have no problem with that being reversed. It's a huge loop hole that should be closed.

In actuality the 14th Amendment states that all people, "born or naturalized..." are citizens.
The process for naturalization is clearly spelled out.
If one comes here willing to go through the process of naturalization to become a citizen then great. All the best to them.

Depends upon whether you're talking about foreign or domestic.
For domestic terrorists, the 5th Amendment still applies. They have due process rights that cannot be denied them.
Actually, we can't. SCOTUS has no right to judicial review for this.
The only way to repeal the 14th Amendment is to create a 28th one. That will never happen in this case.
Nah, not all hate speech is protected. Election officials are being threatened and harassed and intimidated. They have had voicemails left on their home phones threatening to hang nooses and burning crosses in their yards. That is from your side, “who aren’t racists.”

This isn’t your untenured classroom, professor. You’re as complicit and maga evil as they come.
You only control your own actions. If you want to be more civil, be more civil. This is just a message board. If someone calls you a name, who cares, thicken your skin. If it really bothers you when that happens, you probably need to take a break from it anyway.
It is a personality trait and is reflective of many men who identify as conservative. They see “a victim mentality” as weakness and as a defect which renders those people as useless or users. They are incapable of understanding that people needing help or support or an opportunity is something that should be earned and never given....

I know you went to a state school, so you may be unaware classrooms are neither tenured nor untenured. Further, you're probably unaware that untenured means without a permanent position. You'd be wise not to speak of tenure since you obviously know nothing about it.

What I was hoping to accomplish was some reduction of the name calling in general and the personal attacks of people in general. You are assuming my post was made from a personal standpoint. I don’t want to see the mindless, “you’re a homo, you’re a racist,” etc. It adds nothing to the board, is childish and just takes up space and everyone on the board knows it is never true. One of the hallmarks of liberalism, and makes me swell with pride, is the ideology of fairness, inclusion, looking out for the disadvantaged and those taken advantage of, standing against bigotry, injustice, discrimination and a general care for the well being of others.
Healthcare in this country is one of those issues that shines a huge light on whether you truly care about the health and well being of your fellow man or you are a piece of **** trumper who doesn’t care that people die in this country simply because they can’t afford health care.
My point stands. If you want a more civil board, be a more civil participant. If you that means you ignore some posters, have at it. The old adage is true: Never wrestle with a pig. You'll both get dirty, and the pig likes it. I think more than a few folks on here post attacks because they get some enjoyment out of it. If that's you or anyone else, that's cool. How you react to it is all you or any individual poster can control.
How many poor and/or illegal immigrants have you invited to come live with you? How many have you donated to? How many have you done anything at all for, exactly? A government which relies on robbing Peter to pay Paul is still robbing and immoral, which is what you support. Don't talk about moral fairness and equality as you obviously have no clue what they are about.
I could really attack this argument a couple of different ways...
First, let's go with WHO does the rendering of this help/support/opportunity.
Since the 60's, the who has been assumed by the government, who is an uncaring, unfeeling entity. It simply "gives" and has, at this point, created a system of generational poverty and dependency. To the point that it eats up a large percentage of the yearly budget that therefore could be used to benefit more people if it went to roads, etc.
Put it back into the hands of the family/community and then things would change. This is what conservatives want to see happen. If Joe Smoe doesn't want to work after family and friends have helped, then Joe Smoe can starve or freeze. When a deadline is put into place, people tend to start getting motivated. When it isn't... they aren't.
Second, the term "given" is problematic. Suppose you're hungry. I give you a something to eat. We both go away feeling better. However, tomorrow you're back to being hungry again. If I give you something without any conditions, the problem is fixed only temporarily. If I show you the way to get the food for yourself, then turn you loose to get it, we both win. This is what conservatives try to do. Sadly, they often get crucified for being unfeeling for doing so by those who depend upon the downtrodden staying downtrodden.

Canjun and other peripheral maga monkey goons appear - including Cajun posting my business operations zip code before deleting it threatening me to shut up that Tar Heel is off limits and has a stockpile of information.
simply put, the Maga monkeys want to control the agenda, tone , and narrative of board . Until Tar Heel resigns this board will never be objective or fair.
