Well boys, may be time to accept that our offense has regressed, heavily. Losing a few studs on the OLine doesn't help, but our offense is looking 2023 levels of inept. Hank is about as inaccurate as he can be and OLine getting no push. Was really hoping that our offense would at least be somewhat similar to how we left off last year, but these past few weeks have been a real wake up call.

Regressed?! I’d take this offense over what has been Iowa’s offense for the last 4 years minus the last 3 games including the bowl game last year. If you should be upset about anything its the defense.

Absolutely stupid.

I was complimentary of the coaching until that final Ohio State drive. Going ultra conservative there tempered my enthusiasm for the rest of the game. After that curious illegal procedure penalty coupled with the fact Ohio State’s OL is apparently going to be allowed to mug Iowa’s DL with impunity, I might have to save myself the frustration of watching the second half. I have a sneaking suspicion the game is going to get busted wide open in the third quarter. Ohio State is just that good and Iowa will not be able to overcome Ohio State and the officiating.

Besides, good things tend to happen when I give up on an Iowa game, so if Iowa comes back and wins this game, you can all thank me.

Zero TD'S in the first half. That's 2 first half TD's combined in 3 games vs P4 opponents. They also gave one away in this one. That ain't gonna cut it.

Time to start telling opposing defenses that they need to stop executing better than Iowa's offense, starting with Ohio State in the 2nd half.

Iowa is legitimately trying to improve. Our opponents just need to get the f*** out of our way and let us do better.

I believe every scoring play is automatically reviewed. They looked at it.

And it's not like Smith has absolutely killed us all 1st half long. They're gouging us in the run and finding other receivers because Sayin has time against our 4 man rush that is content to dance with Ohio State's fat f***ing linemen.

Even Sayin has plenty of time to escape the pocket and scramble for yards because our fat defensive linemen are fat and our linebackers are busy trying not to get burned by their receivers.................

Trash scared effort that's still gonna lead to a 3+ score loss anyways, unless Phil can find it in himself to trust that his defense won't piss their pants executing a blitz.
