Yep. The lane completely opened up for Askew at the end of the game to drive that make that hoop and that was entirely based on having a shooter out there on the wing.

As far as Cal doing that, we'll see. I think Allen keeps playing like this tho, it kinda forces his hand.


As much as we struggle on offense, there's really no justification for not having him out there right now.

At the end of the day Boston and Clarke still need to figure this out or we are going nowhere but it is nice to have another guy in Allen that can make shots.

I'm very interested in seeing how much time he gives to Allen next game.

Cal is stubborn but it's going to be hard even for him to justify keeping a guy that had this type of game on the bench.

And honestly yeah I didn't see anything from Allen that would make me think he can't play defense.

But honestly at this point even if he couldn't........this team is so challenged on offense. Maybe that changes at some point. Maybe Boston and Clarke figure it out but right now, we NEED Allen in the game..........or well anyone that can make a shot.

Plus Miss St didn't even have Molier for 2 of their losses I believe and Liberty who beat them did so by hitting 19 3s. Most teams lose when your opponent hits 19 3s. They have been 59% from the FT line and could have easily been 8-1 like the announcers said. Either way it's a F-ing SEC road win!
