We are at a talent disadvantage and an underdog. We need to take chances to win this game, by the numbers going for it between the 40s is likely 50/50 or a slight edge either way.

I prefer it on their half of the field in this game and preferably in that no mans land of FG range. We've got momentum sort of the game is under control right now, don't want to let that slip by possibly giving them the ball there.

Mind you I don't take these kind of things as hard and fast rules, it's a game to game and even sometimes drive to drive thing.
