James Franklin is being James Franklin. What an awful 4th down call. He got lucky here with int, BUT how many times do you do that at home up by 14 against a big underdog?

As I said yesterday, going from 4 teams to 12 teams was a bit ambitious for the NCAA. SMU is completely and thoroughly outmatched on both sides of the ball, how they came back on Clemson is a head scratcher. If Coach Franklin keeps his foot on the pedal and runs the score up to sixty something to nothing I have to believe changes will be made next year. JMHO

Speaking of bad officiating calls, did anyone notice that DeLuca never touched the ground on his second interception? He came down on the SMU tackler and got up and started running because he knew he wasn’t down. Stupid official blew it dead.
