Very similar to UCLA getting a 7 and Oregon a 5.
Oregon definitely deserved that 5 but Ucla should have been a 6..close but I think they went with Illinois and quite frankly perhaps some Big 10 fatigue at that point

Louisville/Creighton should not be playing each other in 1st round
Carolina should lose to San Diego St.. I was at the game where they beat Houston in Vegas

Yeah..with the Aztecs they haven't looked as good in MWC play as they did in Vegas. The Houston was huge and the catalyst for keeping them in the field

Louisville at 8 is egregious considering St Marys was 7 and Memphis 5 and Missouri 6. How could there be a 3 seed difference between UL and Clemson

Why is everyone upset over UNC?
For years now people have said it's better to lose to a Q1 team OOC than win a Q3/Q4 game.

UNC has the 5th(?) best OOC schedule. Indiana is #160?

I thought it doesn't matter if you actually win the games. Just that you play them?

Matt Norlander just said on his live show that he had a hint yesterday when they let him know that they were bringing the Assistant Commish to the CBS show and that is never done, its always been just the head guy. They knew yesterday Carolina was in.

Doyel also a heads up because he was going to an interview with the Chair but then informed yesterday there would be 2 people in the interview.

Nebraska 5-10
rutgers 4-13
minnesota 7-8

Oh I agree.
I think the “playing a hard OOC and losing is better than a easier OOC and winning” is a dumb idea.

Just pointing out that for 2 years many people said I was wrong.
All that mattered was the OOC ranking.
Losing to Duke was better than beating Temple.

UNC is the poster child for a “great OOC ranking and losing all those games”.

You and the other should be happy.
It proved your point.

I was wrong. We need a OOC ranked #1 and lose all the games.
#1 OOC but 0-10.

The committee picks and chooses whatever data/criteria it wants to justify who it puts in or leaves out. It's maddeningly inconsistent -- and now with Bubba and UNC, corrupt.

Bubba receives a $68,000 bonus for UNC getting into tournament as the UNC Athletic Director

I don’t know.
Everyone saying Rutgers couldn’t be left out with a NET of 40 then saying it’s ridiculous that UNC with a NET of 36 is in seems maddeningly inconsistent.

Thats got nothing to do with the committee.
