not sure why cal has insisted on playing quickly at PG and green at SG. didnt do this in the summer, both guys played well. neither has during the exhibition games.

This team is going to be special, very special. As in Final Four special. It's Nov. 2nd; Cal is experimenting with lineups,(whether you agree with that or not). We have freshmen who are going to grow up over the course of the season.

Absolutely do. Playing sloppy yes. That happens. I bet we win by 20-25. We didn’t struggle. These players know we have Duke in 3 days. They are coasting through this game. Definitely not some reason to panic and be negative toward our team.

Ask any player. I played on all three levels so I know a little bit about it. It’s always the fans who never played past JV that think they understand. As a player you love games even preseason and you ty to impress. No player says “awwwww I’m bored and won’t try to do much because I’m tired of the preseason”.

You’re not part of this team and I doubt you ever had a 3 month preseason

Don’t post much on here anymore. Mostly during the season.

But it is funny how the same chorus always pipes up when the team is struggling or has an off night. Always with the doom and gloom that this team doesn’t have it or won’t go far, yada yada.

I guess I’m not here or pay enough attention to see what they do the other 3/4 of the season when the Cats look good. Do they actually compliment them? Or just come out of the woodwork when things are not great?

My guess—we win by 20+ and no one gives it a second thought but the miserable people who like to complain. We will see I guess.

Players take certain games less seriously. Maybe baseball is different and I wasn't fighting for a spot but playing a powerhouse was a much more serious deal than playing a exhibition game. Don't get me wrong, wanted to do well, but that extra edge just wasn't there.
