my god can ESPN ever just broadcast a basketball game without some stupid ******* camera angle or random irrelevant interviews while the game is going on
I actually think Herro is as good a passer as there is on team.
We te fine. The preseason has been a long one for these guys. Duke will be a different story have no worries
Only to UK. At home. In an exhibition game.
If we got a Duke whistle...ah. That’d be the life
They're also doing a fantastic job getting back. Not much you can do about transition points if the team doesn't allow it. Clearly a very disciplined team.

Other dude hit it on the head, running super limited offensive sets. While passing sucks and scattered on defense, I'm sure part of that is cal ran them super hard and getting their legs. Not pleasing to watch by any standard, but I highly doubt UK looks like this on the 6th

He feeds the post really well, usually to an angle that leads the big to a score.
Ummmm that’s not how is basketball players do things, we don’t get tired of preseason games we get tired of practice.
The official made an elbow motion, but I digress. Less than stellar overall by them.
To be fair we shouldn't need a Duke whistle. Being up 11 at home to this team is a joke.

It was more of a “We’d have about 3 more titles” kind of dream thing there. Which is true if we got a Duke whistle.

But it is funny how the same chorus always pipes up when the team is struggling or has an off night. Always with the doom and gloom that this team doesn’t have it or won’t go far, yada yada.
I guess I’m not here or pay enough attention to see what they do the other 3/4 of the season when the Cats look good. Do they actually compliment them? Or just come out of the woodwork when things are not great?
My guess—we win by 20+ and no one gives it a second thought but the miserable people who like to complain. We will see I guess.

I wouldn’t be surprised if cal asked for a “duke” whistle before the game. He probably asked them to not do us any favors to get ready
I'll say it, EJ is pretty soft. I'm playing PJ/Reid as much as possible and until Richards figures out how basketball works and EJ toughens up they can play spot minutes.

The problem is that we’re a football school. Everybody knows that football schools don’t get rolling in basketball until at least January.
The Anthony Davis team was down by 3 27-30 to Arkansas-Little Rock at the half--I wonder if people were freaking out then too. It's fine to be critical but some people act like the sky is falling when they play poorly.
This team is going to be special, very special. As in Final Four special. It's Nov. 2nd; Cal is experimenting with lineups,(whether you agree with that or not). We have freshmen who are going to grow up over the course of the season.
