We aren’t playing that bad. D could tighten up some but they are on fire on their home floor on Senior Day. They should come back to earth this half. If they don’t, shake their hand because they were the better team today.

Someone should wipe the ball off, since Florida is pulling shots out of their ***.

Florida is an 11 loss, fringe NCAA tourney team. Getting blown out is pathetic.

FL on pace to score 90+. It's not the refs, it's a lack of D. Give FL some of the credit, they are executing very well. And yeah, good shooting never hurts.

It's the refs on our end, because there were at least 4 times that they got an extra possession because of no calls on fouls. Several more where we didn't get foul shots. On their end, we played some poor defense 5-6 times, but, when we did have a hand in their face, they hit fade-a- way 3's. They could beat anyone in the country, if they shoot like this. This UK team is not really built for spreading the floor and guarding the perimeter at all 5 spots.

Second half play defense, rebound and claw back in on offense. That is the plan.

Florida 18-32. Hard to beat good teams when they do that.

We compound it when we don't snag defensive rebounds and turn it over on almost 25% of our possessions. Hot shooting happens sometimes, but the key is to mitigate it's effect by playing well in other areas. Take care of the ball and the defensive glass, and we are likely still losing but with a much smaller margin.

It's hard to get going when you are not allowed to, we aren't playing that well but the first 15 minutes most of the calls went against us when several should have went the other way. Spanarkel is taking pleasure in what's happening to the cats, you can tell it in what he is saying.

You're showing your true colors in this thread. Go sit by a trashcan.

Take your anger out on me. By all means. I mean I’m the one losing by 15 at half time and will probably have 10 losses by the end of the day. It’s all my fault

I don't understand Cal's infatuation with Richards. Kid has potential but needs work. He should give more minutes to SKJ. At least he can catch a lob.
I have no idea what SKJ is doing wrong that gets him the quick hook when he's actually fortunate enough to get into the game.
He's better than Richards at every facet of the game than Richards.
I just don't get it.

2012-2013 had a 21-10 record and was sent to the NIT so I can’t see this team making it with the same record. That team even finished second in the SEC

YES, I was screaming get him out of there the first play where he gave up a rebound that led to second chance points for Florida. Set the tone early. Green passes to him and doesn't catch it leading to fast break points for Florida. I won't say others aren't included in this first half mess but I don't get the Richards infatuation either.

Thing is - it's the end of year. Richards has had all season to play through his mistakes and improve and he hasn't. It's winning time now. Ride the best players to get you a trophy. Richards is nothing more than a 5-10 minutes back up center at this point and should be used as such.

What? They are playing that bad. Lucky it's not worse.

It’s amazing to see all the posters show up to post now that we had a bad half. So many of them were no where to be seen the past 4 games. What a sad life one must live to troll a message board.
It's a MESSAGE BOARD. People post their FEELINGS during a game. If the team is playing crappy, emotions are going to reflect that. As long as everyone is respectable, it's all good.

The refs did set the tone at the start of the game letting them get physical with no calls and calling touch fouls on us. Then our guys act like they don't know what to do and start playing hero ball. Then throw in Cal being stubborn with the lineups and waiting until we are in a big hole before trying to go zone. I don't know why he refuses to go zone until things are going bad. Duke uses zone and is getting better players and still getting them drafted. Screw worrying about the NBA. The players can improve their man to man when they are getting paid to play as a job.

0 Points - 5 rebounds ( shocked they have that many) - 2 assists ( surprised they have that many of these as well), from 3 of our starters. Does Cal just like playing from a hole to begin the game or what?

Do you know the meaning of the word pathetic? You throw it out every game post at some point. It’s like saying everything is amazing etc exaggerate much? Florida at Florida isn’t a bad loss and certainly isn’t pathetic. We are 35-25 all time in Gainesville. Over dramatic as always....

SKJ is actually not very good either. He rebounds at a lower per 40 than Richards and shoots much worse. Neither player getting many minutes would be ideal.

*******, I'm tired of taking *** beatings to football schools..******* 2-6 vs. UT and Florida the last two years is a joke. It's bad enough UK is like 2-60 combined in football vs. those two programs since the mid 80s...now they're kicking our *** in basketball..******* great.

Are we the worst at leaving our feet on ball fakes or what? Been that way all year. That’s a habit that should have been broken by sophomore year in high school.

Totally agree. At this point, he should be out starting center, unless Cal wants to go small and use the Vanderbilt/Washington line up. But in no way should Richards play more than 10 mins a game at this point. He has a lot of work to do.

Not talking about emotional fans. Talking about people who only post when we are losing or playing bad. There is a huge difference in the two.

Screw the NBA, Cal needs to recruit and coach for Kentucky. His style is not working and needs to be revamped.

We can claw back in to this one as long as Florida doesn't keep hitting fade away 3's.
