He actually does.

If officiating is bad, and you know it as a player, your play will be effected by it. If the official is slowing the game down, who does that help? That's right, the slower, less athletic team.
True that he effects the game, but turnovers and bricks, not counting the layups we missed is the reason we are behind, not Shows.

Cal did say in his presser that he had a couple of tweaks he wanted to try so maybe hes trying something that has the guys a little messed up

Really advanced training program we have so let’s use that and flex our muscles this half. Come on Cats.

Stupid basketball or not, when the #1 team in the country is playing Evansville at home, you should get a vast majority of the calls
The team that plays better gets the calls. UK played like ****. They got what they earned.
It’s a game of 2 half’s. If they play as poorly the 2nd they will probably lose as they will deserve to.
It is better to learn to handle adversity early than in the NCAA’s.

I always like checking the box score. We had 11 fouls They had 10. We were 10-12 from the line. They were 6-7. Hmmm.
Check the number of three pointers taken.. the team that takes the most 3s normally has less opportunities for fouls

it always amazes me when people think a game that has the same number of fouls called on each team means it was well officiated. The object isn’t to call the same number of fouls on each team. It’s to make the correct calls. Period.

Cal gets the same feeling when he sees Shows reffing his games that female interns had while working under Harvey Weinstein.

Coach Cal walking to the tunnel for halftime waiting for a reporter to get in his way or a fan reaching down feeling like:

Of course, this isn't all on Shows. We need to play better. BUT, if Shows did his job better.. Kentucky might be up by 7, and maybe start playing better.

No team should ever HAVE to be perfect. Play well enough to get the win.

He contributes. Like the missed layups and bricks CONTRIBUTE. He is not the sole reason we are behind. Nor are all the other reasons. They all count.

While I agree we deserve to be down and played like **** in the 1st half, the team that plays better gets the calls is definitely not always the case. Teams outplaying their opponents get screwed all the time. Try watching a UNC or Duke home game

So glad to see that greater distance line has made it harder to shoot threes.

Right.
