We had to go all year last year with the Duke loss lingering over us and now we basically got to go all this year with the Evansville loss lingering over us this totally SUCKS!
VERY slow footed. This is what happens when you miss on EVERY big man target you recruit.
No doubt, I had to rewind to watch Hagans not hustle after a ball around mid court and just let a Racer go.... I didn't believe it the first time. They aren't good enough to not outwork people, but a week of press clippings changed that for them.
Agreed. Plus Walter is one of my all time favorite Cats; it would be hard not to be happy for him.

that’s the real killer. They did everything better than we did. Everything. It’s one thing to get upset like this when a team goes crazy from the perimeter and hits 15-20 threes, but that’s not what happened. The way we lost shows a complete lack of effort and preparation. That’s just unacceptable. Hope they enjoyed a few hours at # 1 because they sure pissed it away.
I agree but put it into perspective. The world isn't ending, plenty of season left. This is the same team that beat MSU from start to finish a week ago. They just seemed to be lacking energy tonight and Sestina was majorly exposed by their athletes.
I really think we need to look closely at the 3 guard lineup and the hustle, desire, grit and positioning has to be in question. You can't possibly get outrebounded by Evansville with 5 guys who have 7 foot wingspans. IQ had 9 rebounds tonight...no one else close to him. They killed us with 2nd chance pts.
This to me is a classic (overlooked ya) game. Let us not forget after the *** beating by Duke last year the Seton Hall game sparked a turn around. It is even more embarrassing to lose at home in this manner.
Hopefully it puts the egos in check and lights a fire under the guys. Also need to find minutes for Juzang.
Obviously this is all up to Cal...so he will have to figure it out.
Gonna be a lot more of the same next year too when you lose out on recruits like Cunningham and Brown. We just can’t land the recruit that matter anymore. Especially if you want to keep with the Freshman philosophy. And how Hagans and Whitney got to this level of college ball, I’ll never understand. Can’t hit the broad side of a barn and plays for the Kentucky Wildcats smdh

Maybe instead of jet setting to see his son play 4 minutes he can get his team to make a bunny.
