Wallace and Hansen ran through huge holes tonight. Say it’s luck or skill on the RB’s part, but from my POV it looked like the offensive line played their best game of the season. And the Purduefront 7 looked overmatched.

PSU was absolutely the better team tonight. The Purdue points came on massive mistakes from the PSU special teams and defense.

As a fan, I’m definitely taking tonight as progress though. Makes the back half of the season worth watching.
It was nice to watch Penn State improve after the bye week. Something that rarely occurred in the past few years.

Just got in and did not see any of the game. Not being a goof, just asking if Martin and Peoples are hurt or just went with hot hands.
lol don’t ever say you didn’t watch a game on this board. Two posters disciplined me for it like I was a child.

True and it had nothing to do with Purdue as the opponent.
I'm surprised fans didn't storm the field.
Will there be campaigns here to name CMC coach of the year when he slays murderers' row (Washington, Maryland and Rutgers)? Including the mighty Boilermakers, those final 4 opponents have a total of 5,count them 5 Big Ten Wins. Minnesota is the only team with a pulse.
There is a real danger in thinking anything positive is happening, with the exception that winning those games is slightly better than losing.
It doesn't change sub par talent acquisition (recruiting and NIL issues), (the stadium has had more fans for a spring game (sans the band, Lioinettes and cheerleaders),and the actual Big Ten Schedules in 27-28.
This team is 5 or 6 elite players from a 10 win season. That estimate is assuming that every meaningful contributor on the current squad is convinced to stay.

The Florida Qb just threw one of the worst passes ever for an INT in the end zone

maybe his job was on the line- as it should be
Rocco definitely looked better. I did feel he was locking in on the TE s from the snap, but looked more like he knew what he was doing. Also the running game took pressure off him to allow him to not force it. Wallace ran with purpose, better than Hansen. Big differentiator for me is defense looked like they had a purpose. Better, but we will see how much was opponent moving forward.
Didn’t like how we kept Purdue in the game, but a wins a win.

You've reached chumbo level of nonsense
No one thinks beating Purdue or even running the table means MC is a great coach. The season was lost long ago.

Says the terd run off every Penn State board he has polluted. And tries to hide the use of multiple names.
Are you talking about yourself again?
The only time I've ever left a board is when it no longer existed. Still have the same "name"...try harder

I’ve met 4 wonderful people over the years from this board. Im starting to think I got super lucky and they are the only 4 worth meeting.

I made a simple little observation my friend. Your reaction is a bit over the top.

Over the top or 💯 percent reality? 4 of next 5 opponents have 5 conference wins. It would be a terrible mistake to view these wins as progress. Recruiting is mediocre and attendance was alarming. What is inaccurate and over the top?

Surprisingly( at least to me) Purdue was averaging just under 400 yds/gm coming in to yesterday. ND was the only one to slow them down. Big numbers vs Wake and UCLA

I am sensing some battle fatigue here on the McAndrew Board. Hoping that the more sane posters maintain their sanity and the idiots go away.

I am happy that the team won yesterday. Actually I am closer to ecstatic. It's not easy busting your hump trying to win a game. The other team is doing the same.

I try to keep in mind that yesterday's opponent was not the best - we had a thread last week reminding us the PSU & Purdue were bottom dwellers in the conference statistics

My friend......in this trying year, I thought the team played a little better coming out of the bye week. By no means did we play like world beaters. We are still making a lot of mistakes. But it was certainly better than getting worse. Even if it was lowly Purdue. Its as simple as that. It certainly didn't convince me that we will win any or all of our remaining games.

They aren't going away. This is the only outlet for their delusion.
