This is the indefensible thing about Rhule.

He could have got a real group…plenty of $$ to work with and he had actual clout at the time.

He turned it into the same deal as me sending one of my kids to the concession stand at some horrid baseball game with $5 and them coming back with 2 blow-pops.
Yep

great analogy. We ended up with a flop uncle o line coach and a 23 year old “coaching frat” hire. Just for starters.

More Like taking the kids to haymarket park with $100 and instead of bringing back a cold beer and nice burger, it’s some stale sweet tea with no ice and petrified licorice from the 90s. Lots stronger options with the resources Nebraska has

The Satterfield hire said everything I needed to know.

This one hire set the table for his tenure. He needed a Tony White version for OC and he picked his neighborhood buddy who was a stoner, lost 3 jobs and got kicked out of school to be his guy. The fact Rhule looked at Satts body of work, how S.Carolina was responding and still wanted THAT guy? Said it all.

His offensive hires made the anti-Rhule crowd guaranteed to be right. My co-workers were all pissed at me for saying he was an automatic fail and should be fired in four years, his offensive and special teams hires were all nepotism based which either spoke to him not giving a f___ or to him being so offensively incompetent that he just fell back on guys he knew. He actually might have thought that defense would carry him. Lol
