IMO the 5 "best" guys probably include a couple of guys who are redshirting. The 5 "most ready to play" though are probably starting. It's a conundrum.

One of the former players recently did something about Frost wasn't necessarily going all out this year and wanting to keep shirts on guys for the future if at all possible. Also referenced jurgens taking his lumps instead of sitting him again stockpiling some experience in lieu of absolute now performance although I'm not sure we have a real tremendous center situation anyway

Folks can have their own opinions but if that's what he wants to do then sure.

A couple of those kids need to put on some weight but I really like that we've got a couple of kids who started out as high school TEs. We lack some athleticism at RT and at least one of our guard spots right now. I think we're going to see more of that with Frost.

Few comments and observations I see:

--Why do we have an underperforming lineman as our captain?
--Our two best lineman are Jaimes and Jurgens. They are the only two who posses athleticism and some power. The other three remind me of pilsbury dough boy half the time.
--Why does our captain call out our center for bad snaps when he's getting beat on 65% of the plays? Nothing wrong in calling out the Center but he needs to carry his weight and take ownership of that publicly.
--Football is a team effort but I put our teams struggles almost solely on this unit. Their inability to keep drives going and constant tendency of getting penalized on big plays have been huge momentum killers, hence putting more pressure on our "bend but don't break" Defense.

If this unit can get it together we can win as many as 3-4 of the remaining games. If not, we'll be finding ourselves watching other teams during the holidays.

Said captain calling out Cam for his snaps reaks of "nepotism", for lack of a better word.
