love the quickness and number of players that can create their shots

Also, we have way too many people who can hit the 3 ... haven't been able to say that in a LONG time.

Poythress nailing that 3 was a beautiful thing to see. Now we just need him to throw down at least one lob.

Murray is a star.
Ulis is as good as we thought.
Briscoe can really finish.
This team can shoot.
Matthews has bunnies.
Skal is going to be really good, but still has a lot of growing to do.

Our guards are nuts. Ulis has the ball on the string, anything Murray throws up looks like it's going in, and Brisoce plays like a pitbull.

This team has a lot of different pieces and Cal has plenty of options on line ups. I think we will dictate the pace this year, and I don't see many teams being able to run with us. I'm happy with how our front court looks. Impressed with Skal and I think Humphries has a lot of upside. Lee looks like he is slowly coming into his own. It's also awesome to Poy back out there.

I'm excited

Love to see Ulis feed the post. Guard play is fantastic. Most excited to see the movement and outside shooting from Poythress.

Poy doesn't seem to play the same to me, he is missing rebounds he would have NEVER missed before, I'm sure it's still mostly mental as I'm coming off my own major knee surgery and don't trust it at all yet, I really, really hope we get to see the old Poy who could jump out of the gym.

Seems to have replaced it with great shooting behind the arc.

As long as he's shooting like he is, I'm good.

I would have liked to have seen Willis transfer for his sake. It would be nice to see how he would have fared at another school. He is very talented and could be difference maker somewhere, but will never sniff the floor with meaningful minutes here.

Lots of positives, so I hate to bring up a negative but Briscoe's free throw stroke has to improve. He looked very uncomfortable shooting a free throw. Odd because everything else about his game looked great.
