The last time someone questioned our ability to play in wet conditions. It didn't work out so well for Concord
and i wasn’t making a excuse for crest either it’s suppose to rain Thursday as well…. But u talking rain for a whole day 1/2 straight which is gonna cause the field to be flooded and muddy and possibly a hurricane Friday which is why I said what I said about injuries, and being idiotic seein how this could possibly cause the game being canceled

I think Crest went up to an undefeated or one loss Page squad in 1997 in the muck and ended their season.
Rain or shine, I take Crest to overwhelm OG. Cleveland county athletes are just different.

To be honest. I thought Crest would have a tough time with Statesville. I didn't think Crest looked good at all when we played them. But that was early in the year and Crest has improved a lot since then. I didn't realize Statesville was young as well. I think this will be a good game though. How will the young Chargers react to a road playoff game against an undefeated team (regardless of schedule). I still think Crest wins, but I think it's closer than people think.
I think OG throws the ball pretty well too. In the CD game, they moved the ball down the field very quickly at the end of the game to score the go ahead TD. As young as Crest is in the secondary, I would think that could be an advantage. I still like Crest in this game regardless of the weather, but a true test for such a young program.

Crest with the better strength of schedule but Oak Grove has beaten every team that has been put in front of them. Looks like OG is the type of squad that wants it to be a 4th qtr game where as Crest has no issue with scoring as fast as possible. Crest has gotten off to slow starts this season but once it changes gears...look out. Weather could certainly play a factor in this one so both teams will need to take care of the ball. Clash of styles tomorrow night for a chance to go to the 3rd round.

Thanks for the stats. Really amazing Pettis has 73 tackles and 12 sacks, never coming off the field. I don't know how he does it each week.
Crazy stat. Last 5 games Crest has outscored their opponents 150-0 in the second half.
Somebody made it hard on the working man. It was ridiculous to move it from one rainy day to another rainy day and when the working man has to be up @ 4am then the stupid decision takes him out of the mix.

I thought about you when I heard the game was moved. Just really sucks for anyone working. You roll out at 5 on the dot and still don't make kickoff. I don't think my kids (Sr, So, Fr) are going. There was a student bus going on Friday and my wife said they were getting one for today but only like 35 students or so. I hate it for them....especially the senior. Hopefully Crest pulls this one out and they can go next week. I'm pulling for you guys. Hopefully we both win tonight!
I can get off in plenty of time to make it TD. i I just can't ride 2 hours up watch a 3 hour game in the pouring rain and drive 2 hours back and be up @ 4am and go to work by 5. Well, I could do all that but it'd be ignorant. I rarely ever miss a game but such is life. The decision making on this one baffles the mind it's like no one watches the weather.

I never complained. In fact I said it was genius for their coach not to move it.
I just don't get moving it from one rainy night to another rainy night. The OG coach was forced to move the game or he wouldn't have. What sense does it make to move it to Thursday? Wet is wet.

I am well enough considering my age and long standing issues. George has been sick all week so I will be attending the game by myself; he is going to drop me off but I prefer he not try to pick me up after the game. Having been looking for a 15 minute ride home from a SP friend but no takers yet.
