Oak Grove is a couple miles outside of the Thomasville city limits. Weather.com is still showing 71% at 6 and 42% at 9 pm on Friday.

Is OG as talented or athletic as Crest? Not from I can tell so the coach is doing what he is paid for “trying to win”. It’s a strategic move for sure. Will it work out, who knows. You won't because it's football and injury comes with the territory of playing a collision sport regardless of the weather. Personally I enjoyed playing in the rain and snow

From 1970-2000 Charlotte wasn't in the state title other than West Charlottea few times. And it also doesn't explain the discrepancy 1A-3A in titles. With many being won by Reidsville or another western team that filled a vacancy.
Highly possible. But they were not. This is by far not the best team OG has had in their short time as a school. They were able to win when they needed in their conference and got a better seat which has allowed them to get to where they are. Win or lose they are a young program with a very experienced coach and he is doing what he can for his kids. He’s right, those past games and accolades has nothing to do with this Friday and not moving the game. Yes it’s a strategic move but it also is telling to how he feels about his team’s chances. I don’t have a dog in the fight but it’s obvious unless you are biased towards OG.

I'm glad the Crest faithful aren't making built in excuses like we're young or the weather may affect us. Crest is a real program and doesn't need the excuses especially when they're the favorite over an undefeated team only five years old that is trying to establish itself with their first real playoff success.

Crest offense may look terrible in the rain just based off of how they play. I can see an upset happening if I’m being honest.
