Well crap u coulda been like me, go were the close games are ha ha. Had to ask
Couldn't. Brakes gave out on the Diesel pickup and locked up. went thru a red light. I have four more vehicles but I was peed off today.
Watauga don't stay down long. Doesn't seem like a down year either. Just a bunch of little country boys that wanna win and play to win
Habich has the boys ready to play. Offense looks really solid. Defense can't stop a runny nose. That was the difference in tonight's game. Had Watauga been able to make a few stops with under 2 minutes left, they would have left Asheville with a W. That's why they play the game though.
Watauga is much better then anyone predicted at the beginning of the year. What they do offensively they do very well and very disciplined. You have to account for everyone on every play, and it's not an offense that easy to prepare for in one week. Defensively they have some issues, but they have heart and play their butts off. Hats off to Watauga and best of luck in the future, sorry the series is no longer going to be played.
47-15 Maiden. Poor passing poor tackles. This South team makes the 80s South teams look good. 8 min left in 3rd quarter. If this is a Soph/freshman lead team then things HOPEFULLY won't be so bad next year
Tyler Goins still getting stuff done for South. I'd hope he's get at least some kinda all conf recognition.

Bandys leads Saint Stephens 16-7 with 6 minutes left. Maiden leads 60-21. This conference is horrible outside of true 2A Hibriten.
I came to the South game tonight just to see if they have any kinda spark or promise for the future. And of course to see how this spread offense works. Players look smaller than last year. I'm just gonna assume a good class of boys left and there's little hope of rebuilding.
The 1 win and zero win SC teams of 01' and 02' didn't get stomped this bad by anybody I don't believe.

What is it with Ashe County's defense?? To score that much you would either not even try or just let em' score just about on purpose. I mean, gee.
Yeah, imagine how many points they would score if they didn't run that boring offense.
Yeah, but just imagine how many points they would be putting up if they didn't run that boring, slow, ground and pound, three yards and a cloud of dust, offense that everyone keeps talking about. Because 64 points a game just isn't cutting it. But on the bright side, at least South is finally headed in the right direction offensively. Just keep throwing!
Sorry but Carter is running a hybrid offense mix of last year AC and his. But you know that. It's not 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Alexander Central has always had more speed than South, excluding Pollard who transferred from Saint.
South had speed last year. It showed on the track. Conf championship and winners of some sprint relays. Are some of those guys graduated and not on the field now? Who knows. Wanting input from Sparta
