I have no reasoning as to why but I think we get the W tonight. Have to win out at home + @PSU to be on the right side of the bubble.

Probably dreaming but it can be done. Anything less and our chances are slim heading into the Big 10 tourney.

I will be surprised if NU wins. I just think the wheels have come off.

Of course, if they can get this one, then finish by winning 6 of 8, including a win at either Purdue, Michigan, or MSU, and avoid losing on the road to PSU, then win 2 games in the B1G tournament, we’ll all forget about the past 3 weeks.

Miles said he wants to see more touches in the paint and more movement on offense. Good thing he got this figured out by February. I also want the players to finish on a positive, and I'll even take Miles back next year if it means we go to the dance. But I agree it feels like the wheels have come off. Everything else aside.... if they'd shoot even a low-but-not-terrible percentage they wouldn't be in this position. Maybe the shots fall at home this time.

This team needs to get on the NIT bubble before they worry about the NCAA bubble. The wheels have come off but this is a game we pull out somehow. For those that can't resist taking Maryland just but the under. It will be a low scoring affair.

After a W tonight I can see the team falling apart all over again.

Expect a lot 1-3-1 tonight. Maryland has had troubles with our zone in the last. The question will be...are we capable of shooting 45% or better.

I’ll be there cheering, but I’d be surprised if we win another game this year. When you don’t try on defense at this level, are poorly coached and take poor shots, the results are obvious. If they pass the ball like they did against Creighton, things would be much different.

A bit off-topic, but is anyone else who streams these BTN games being subject to those horrifying League of Legends commercials? The squealing that emits from those ads makes me think Josie and the Pussycats are being disemboweled - except that might actually sound better.

Long way to go, but I like this look where Palmer isn’t monopolizing the ball. Huskers also doing a nice job on the boards.

Agreed. Akenten is a black hole of suck right now. However, he has zero hesitation in throwing up bricks from the corner. So that's a nice combo.

I guarantee we lead the nation in three pointers taken with less than 3 seconds on the shot clock.

I checked in and saw NU was up 15-8. Checked a minute ago, and Maryland is on a 15-0 run. I’m glad I’ve stopped watching these things start to finish.

This team has quit. The guys are out there to impress the scouts and coaches from other schools. That's all they are playing for at this point.
