Don’t see a blowout either way. If we get waxed it will really kill our national perception even further.People who are predicting an Iowa blowout are probably guessing that our OL gets completely outplayed which basically ruins our offense. And that Stanley and the Iowa offense (their TEs especially) have a big day against our secondary.
I find it hard to believe there's any other obvious scenario that would lead to a big Iowa beatdown on us.
This game is very simple: if our OL keeps Epenesa/Nelson/Hesse away from CT, and our defensive coverage is reasonably good, we can get Iowa into a 3-6 point game that's winnable.
If the opposite? Iowa crushes us.
I don't see it either. More I've thought about the game this week, the more confident I am we can make a game of it and have chances to win late.Don’t see a blowout either way. If we get waxed it will really kill our national perception even further.
That would be Chris in NW Iowa. After the last two weeks, I think Iowa will be out for blood. Especially with this game at home. Plus, I do not see them dropping three in a row.

We have been too erratic this year. Almost beating teams we shouldn't, beating teams we weren't expected to, beating teams who already had us beat, and losing to teams we shouldn't, the latter being what I believe will happen this week, because when it really comes down to it we can't beat the teams we really need to, even though we may be capable.

Looks like you and I were closest to the final margin of 4...24 - 21 Cats in OT
.02 and, Go Cats !
Though you had our score correct, and only missed the final maegin due to a doink, so I am thinking this was the best prediction.NU 14

They have more yards etc and 3 scores v 2, yet we hold on for W somehow.
I'll take this loss gracefully, as my 4-2 prediction overestimated both defenses. I'm happy with my haiku prediction that Ioa would have to settle for hind tit today, though.Looks like you and I were closest to the final margin of 4...
But we had a dink as well so ...Though you had our score correct, and only missed the final maegin due to a doink, so I am thinking this was the best prediction.
Still at a loss to explain the multiple posters who had predicted a blowout win for Io__. Reverse psychology perhaps?
I'm really glad I got more confident as the week went on... and as expected Bowser was sensational.Though you had our score correct, and only missed the final maegin due to a doink, so I am thinking this was the best prediction.

And against a rush D that was 5th in the NATION coming in. Even better than Michigan's...I'm really glad I got more confident as the week went on... and as expected Bowser was sensational.
I think I'd argue that Bowser's performance was the best game any Northwestern freshman has ever achieved (and I know we've had some good ones in the recent past like Sutton and JJ).
For Bowser to perform at that level on that stage with the division title on the line; there's no way to overrate that performance.
That's why I think a rematch with Michigan would be a completely different game. And against a rush D that was 5th in the NATION coming in. Even better than Michigan's...
I will gladly claim victory earned by 4 hrs of Fox extended frigidity!!Though you had our score correct, and only missed the final maegin due to a doink, so I am thinking this was the best prediction.
