Greg failed at the highest of places...the NFL, soThe only coach we are going to get here is someone who failed at other places so they are not in demand by any well run schools.
Even they will know that they are walking into a job where it is overwhelmingly likely that they fail again, but the opportunity to make the type of money ($20 million+) they will get for failing here makes it worth taking the job.
Did I mention Schiano? He wasn’t at the top of my list going into this.Greg failed at the highest of places...the NFL, so
does he get a pass because Saban failed in Miami and Greg is the Saban of Rutgers?
Even though Anthony Camp is an alum and all indications are he’d like to coach here again, he’s a young, rising star and needs to think beyond the next gig. If I was in his shoes, I wouldn’t take the job at this point in my career either. Maybe he’ll get another chance down the road after Hobbs and Barchi are long gone and whatever slug they hired to succeed (ha!) Ash has (surprise!) failed miserably.
The return of Schiano to....
Steve Addazio.
Happy 150th everybody.
Perfect example of what I was talking about. A guy who knows the area enough to know he is walking into a situation he can’t fix, but he is never getting P5 head coach money again from anyone else, so he will come here and happily cash our checks. The return of Schiano to....

Happy 150th everybody.
Schiano wasn’t my choice going into this. Hobbs has misplayed this to where he would have been far better than the desperate retreads we will be picking from now, especially because whoever Hobbs ends up with has to deal with a lot of resentment from the fans and local HS coaching community.Greg failed at the highest of places...the NFL, so

Nobody worth a **** wants to kill their career when they have other choices. The money and opportunities will be there for them.Job may be a career killer but it’s still winning the lottery.
